Abstract

The purpose of the research reported herein has been to compare users and non-users of the internet in terms of their self-efficacy and CREATIVITY. The research population has been all the 610 third year high school STUDENTS in Booshehr majoring in math and physics in the year 84- 5.A sample of 210 was selected randomly from among the users and nonusers. These two groups of STUDENTS were matched in terms of their GPA, age, and grade. The instruments used were the SELF- EFFICACY and CREATIVITY questionnaires with the latter having both a verbal and a pictorial forms. The collected data were analyzed using both the self-efficacy and CREATIVITY of the INTERNET USERs were higher than those of the non- users.
