Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the necessity of conceptualization in psychological research works and present various approaches toward methodological concepts in the view of Islamic psychology.The question at hand is that: Does a consensus exist on methodological concepts such as "scientific method," "half-scientific," "non-scientific," "observation," "introversion," "measurement" and such, or not? The views of some psychological philosophers, specially BUNGE, philosopher of psychology in Mc Gill University in Canada, and other Islamic philosophers were retrieved and studied by rational and theoretical analysis methods.The research findings include the following: lack of consensus on conceptions such as scientific method, half-scientific, etc.; the definite necessity of performing experiments; the necessity of having experience but its insufficiency; lack of generalizability of animal study findings to the people.
