Abstract

The celebrated Shia scholar, AL-SHAIKH AL-TUSI, is of great and magnificent status in the Shia scholarly-cultural evolution. Thinking thoroughly and knowing his time as well as the needs of the sect in his era, al-Tusi dealt with research and writing, made SHIA JURISPRUDENCE dynamic, offered moderation and comprehensiveness to SHIA JURISPRUDENCE through emphasizing intellectuality and reasoning in addition to the Book and sunnah in composing his works, and found some solutions in order to preserve Shia against existing threats. The present essay intends to expound al-Tusi's role in Shia Juristic, hadithi evolution as well as bases of his own juristic evolution.
