BIODEISEL PRODUCTION USING MICROALGAE ITS EFFECT ON REDUCTION OF GREEN HOUSE GASES

Abstract

 GREEN HOUSE EFFECT IS NATURAL PHENOMENONS THAT INCREASE THE EARTH TEMPERATURE. CO2 EMISSION INCREASES TEMPERATURE AND CAUSE CLIMATE CHANGES. BECAUSE CO2 IS THE MAIN COMPONENT OF GREEN HOUSE GASES, THEREFORE USING FOSSIL FUELS CREATES DANGEROUS INFLUENCE ON CLIMATE. THE MAIN PART OF CO2 EMISSION COMES FROM POWER PLANTS AND INSTALLATIONS FOR CONTROLLING AND REMOVAL OF CO2 HELPS THEM TO DECREASE CO2 EFFECT. BIODIESEL IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT HAS MINIMUM OF CO2 POLLUTION. BETWEEN RAW MATERIALS THAT ARE REQUIRED TO PRODUCE OIL FOR BIODIESEL, MICROALGAE ARE IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT DOESN’T NEED CROPS LAND FOR GROWING. MICROALGAE IS A PHOTOSYNTHESIS WHICH USES CO2 AND PRODUCES O2. THESE ALGAE GROW AND PROVIDE REQUIRED OIL TO PRODUCE BIODIESEL.
