Abstract

 AN EFFICIENT ONE POT APPROACH FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF DIHYDROPYRANO [3, 2-C] CHROMENESANDBISCOUMARINS AS IMPORTANT HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS WITH PHARMACOLOGICAL AND BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES HAVE BEEN PREPARED USING NANOCRYSTALLINE MAGNESIUM OXIDE. MAGNESIUM OXIDE NANOPARTICLES WERE SIGNIFICANTLY CATALYZED THREE COMPONENT REACTION OF ALDEHYDES, ETHYLCYANOACETAT AND 4-HYDROXYCOUMARIN IN HIGH YIELDS AND SHORT REACTION TIMES UNDER SOLVENT-FREE CONDITIONS. NANO MAGNESIUM OXIDE AS AN EFFICIENT, AVAILABLE AND CHEAP HETEROGENEOUS NANOPARTICLES WERE USED FOR SEVERAL TIMES IN THE SYNTHESIS OF DIHYDROPYRANO [3, 2-C] CHROMENES AND BISCOUMARINS.
