Abstract

 METAL-ORGANIC FRAMEWORKS (MOFS), WHICH ARE A SUBFAMILY OF POROUS COORDINATION POLYMERS (PCPS), CONSIST OF INORGANIC CLUSTERS CONNECTED VIA ORGANIC LINKERS TO FORM THREE-DIMENSIONAL POROUS CRYSTALLINE STRUCTURES [1, 2]. ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PROPERTIES OF THESE CRYSTALLINE PARTICLES IS TUNEABILITY OF THEIR CAVITIES AND THE PORES CAN BE PERMITTED OPTIMIZATION OF SPECIFIC CATALYTIC APPLICATIONS [3]. RECENTLY, MORE ATTENTION HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF MAGNETIC PARTICLES AND THEIR IMPROVEMENT IN DIFFERENT AREAS. MAGNETIC PROPERTIES HELP RAPID AND EASY SEPARATION OF THE CATALYST USING AN EXTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELD [4, 5].HEREIN WE REPORT THE SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF NEW MAGNETIC METAL ORGANIC FRAMEWORK AND USING IT FOR DIRECT OXIDATION OF ALKENES TO CORRESPONDING CARBOXYLIC ACIDS IN THE PRESENCE H2O2 (SCHEME1).
