Abstract

 DIFFERENTIAL TRANSFORMATION METHOD (DTM) FOLLOWED BY HAS BEEN USED TO SOLVE THE MATERIAL BALANCE EQUATIONS THROUGH THE EXPERIMENTAL SYSTEM USED SUPERCRITICAL FLUID EXTRACTION (SFE) LANTHANIDES FROM THEIR OXIDES. THE PRINCIPLE OF THIS METHOD IS BRIEFLY INTRODUCED AND IS THEN APPLIED TO THE LINEAR AND NONLINEAR MATERIAL BALANCE EQUATIONS. ALL OBTAINED RESULTS HAVE BEEN COMPARED WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS AND EXACT SOLUTIONS, WHICH REPRESENTED THE HIGH ACCURACY OF THE PRESENT METHOD. DTM IS AN EFFICIENT ANALYTICAL TECHNIQUE WHICH IS USED TO SOLVE THE LINEAR AND NONLINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS, GOVERNING THE PROBLEM IN THE FORM OF SERIES WITH EASILY COMPUTABLE TERMS.
