Abstract

 IN THIS WORK, PREPARED NICKEL OXIDE NANOPARTICLE-MODIFIED GLASSY CARBON ELECTRODE (NIONPS@ GCE) WAS SUCCESSFULLY EMPLOYED FOR ELECTROCATALYTIC OXIDATION OF FORMALDEHYDE (HCHO) IN ALKALINE MEDIA. SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPY (SEM), CYCLIC VOLTAMMETRY (CV), ELECTROCHEMICAL IMPEDANCE SPECTROSCOPY (EIS) AND CHRONOAMPEROMETRY WAS EMPLOYED.
