Abstract

MOST OF THE INFERENCES IN STANDARD STATISTICAL METHODS ARE BASED ON ONE IMPORTANT ASSUMPTION: THE SAMPLE SHOULD BE INDEPENDENT AND IDENTICALLY DISTRIBUTED. THEORETICALLY IT IS EASY TO ASSUME THAT A SAMPLE IS IID, BUT IN APPLICATION, THAT WE FACE TO A FINITE POPULATION, THE SITUATION IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.IN THIS ARTICLE, WE WILL INVESTIGATE SOME FINITE POPULATION DESIGN TO FIND, WHEN IT IS REASONABLE TO ASSUME THAT THE SAMPLE IS IID.
