THIS CLASS ENFOLDS SEVERAL WELL-KNOWN DISTRIBUTIONS SUCH AS SKEW-CAUCHY DISTRIBUTION OF BEHBOODIAN ET AL. (2006). WE THEN PRESENT CERTAIN USEFUL REPRESENTATION THEOREMS. NEXT, WE SHALL FOCUS ON A USEFUL SUBCLASS OF THIS NEW DISTRIBUTIONS WHICH ARE SYMMETRIC FAMILY OF DISTRIBUTIONS AND DISCUSS SOME OF THEIR PROPERTIES.
