Abstract

 IN THIS PAPER WE PROVE THAT THE GENERALIZED COMPLEX STRUCTURES ON THE GENERALIZED TANGENT BUNDLE OF A RIEMANNIAN MANIFOLD ARE EQUIVALENT TO THE SPECIAL MAXIMAL ISOTROPIC SUB BUNDLES OF A COMPLEX GENERALIZED TANGENT BUNDLE THAT ARE CLOSED UNDER THE COURANT BRACKET.
