Abstract

 INTRODUCTION: WHEN DENTISTS SHOULD DO ROOT CANAL THERAPY IN TWO VISITS, CALCIUM HYDROXIDE IS THE BEST INTRA CANAL MEDICAMENT THAT IS RECOMMENDED IN REFERENCE ENDODONTIC BOOKS.ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS OF ROOT CANAL TREATMENT FAILURES IS THE REMNANTS OF MICROORGANISMS IN ROOT CANALS. THEY PENETRATE INTO THE DENTINAL TUBULES UP TO HUNDRED MICRONS AND MANY OF INTRA CANAL MEDICAMENTS INCLUDING CALCIUM HYDROXIDE WITH LARGE PARTICLES CANNOT REACH THEM SO THE GOAL OF MAKING THIS MATERIAL IS THE POWDER THAT HAVE BENEFITS OF CALCIUM HYDROXIDE BUT CAN PENETRATES MORE IN DENTINAL TUBULES AND BE MORE EFFECTIVE AGAINST MICROORGANISMS...
