Abstract

 INTRODUCTION: IN THIS STUDY WE INTRODUCE A NOVEL H2S GAS SENSOR THAT UTILIZES A GRAPHENE/N-SI SCHOTTKY JUNCTION. THE UNIQUE PROPERTIES OF GRAPHENE MAKE IT A VERY ATTRACTIVE MATERIAL FOR VARIOUS APPLICATIONS SUCH AS SOLAR CELLS [1], BIOSENSORS [2], LIGHT EMITTING DIODES [3], AND GAS DETECTORS [4]. THE ENTIRE VOLUME OF A SINGLE LAYER GRAPHENE IS EXPOSED TO ITS SURROUNDINGS SO THAT COMPARING TO PREVIOUSLY DESIGNED SENSORS, GRAPHENE IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR HIGHLY SENSITIVE DETECTION OF GAS MOLECULES...
