Abstract

The Chapter 3 of the CONSTITUTION of the Islamic Republic of Iran discusses the fundamental rights of the nation in 24 articles. These rights can be categorized on the basis of the following three pivots: EQUALITY, security and FREEDOM. In the present paper the three said concepts are discussed conceptually and then they are analyzed from jurisprudential and legal points of view as given in the CONSTITUTION of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
