Abstract

IN THE PRESENT STUDY PAID THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AUDITOR INDEPENDENCE AND THE COST OF EQUITY AT THE COMPANIES LISTED IN TEHRAN STOCK EXCHANGE DURING THE6-YEAR PERIOD FROM 1388 TO 1393. THE VOLUME OF SAMPLE CONSISTS OF 102 MEMBER COMPANIES OF TEHRAN STOCK EXCHANGE THAT IN THIS STUDY, USED ANALYSIS OF MULTIVARIATE REGRESSION WAS. THE RESULTS SHOWED A SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AUDITOR INDEPENDENCE IS THE COST OF EQUITY ALSO ACCORDING TO AUDITOR INDEPENDENCE CAN SAY NEGATIVE FACTOR WITH THE INCREASE (OR DECREASE) THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE AUDITOR, THE COST OF EQUITY IN THE COMPANIES LISTED IN THE TEHRAN STOCK EXCHANGE LOSS (OR GAIN) INCREASE.
