Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and rate the effective factors in sport entrepreneurship in the municipality of Tehran with DEMATEL approach. This study was an applied survey. The statistical population consisted all experts and successful sports entrepreneurs in Tehran Municipality and statistical sample was selected with purposeful sampling. A researcher-made questionnaire that was designed according to the literature was distributed between 32 people. Then, 17 factors were identified as effective factors that were used to prepare the DEMATEL questionnaire. By analyzing data with the DEMATEL approach, rates and relationship between factors were determined. The results showed Factor O (Specialization of the organization) was the most influential factor in the total system. Also, due to the positive and significant relationship between "talented and technical manpower" and other identified factors, it is suggested that sport organizations and entrepreneurs pay more attention to individuals’ abilities in the employment process.
