Abstract

Migration and how to redistribute the population within the country is one of the most important factors that economic and social policymakers in the community are focusing on, ordering and directing population movements, and directing the population towards the desired poles. Migration, either internationally or in country level, always causes a decrease in migrant areas and an increase in the population of migratory areas. These changes in some cases occur slowly and continuously, but in some cases occurred fast and cross-sectional. In this study with uses of descriptive-analytic methods, Excel and GIS software population changes in Khuzestan Province in inter-provincial level during the last two decades and its impact on the average annual Population Growth has been studied. Results show that in 2006, Khuzestan Province have been the third most visited immigrant province, with a net migration of-108209 per people. In 2011, this province was the most incredible province with the net migration of-54530 immigrants. Isfahan, Tehran and Fars provinces have the most immigrants from the Khuzestan. In 2006 and 2011, average real Population Growth rate in Khuzestan has been dropped 1. 8 and 0. 16 percent per unit respectively. Furthermore, 0. 25 percent of the population in 2006 and 0. 62 percent of the population in 2011 caused the decrease in Population Growth in the province as a result of Immigration.
