Abstract

The aim of this research was to investigate the sense of security role in the sports tourism industry. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in nature. The statistical population includes about 78, 000 spectators of the match between Esteghlal and Traktorsazi of Tabriz soccer teams in Azadi Stadium in the first half of the league season (2018-2019); Using Cochran's formula, 384 of them were selected by random sampling. To collect data, two researcher-made questionnaires related to the sense of security and the re-presence of sports tourists were used, the form and content validity of which was confirmed by 12 professors and experts. Furthermore, Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the reliability of these questionnaires was 0. 82 and 0. 84, respectively. Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests, Pearson correlation, simple, and multiple linear regressions were also used to analyze the data. The results illustrated that sense of security, after, before, and during the match with beta values of 0. 382, 0. 312, and 0. 248, respectively in this sporting event, had the greatest impact on the re-presence of sports tourists (p < 0 0. 05).
