Title

The role of knowledge leadership and organizational culture in job performance

Abstract

 The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of Organizational culture in the relationship between Knowledge leadership and Job performance in Birjand University staff. This research is descriptive-correlative in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of the study includes all 340 employees of Birjand University. According to Cochran's formula, in order to achieve the minimum sample size (180 people), 200 standard questionnaires were distributed by stratified random sampling by unit of work, of which only 191 A questionnaire was usable that was analyzed. The research variables included three questionnaires: Viitala Knowledge leadership (2004), Patterson (1970) Job performance and Denison (2000) Organizational culture. After ensuring the validity and reliability of the research tool, structural equation modeling and regression test at the significance level of 0. 05 in SPSS 25 and AMOS 24 software were used to analyze the data. The results showed that Organizational culture has a mediating role in the relationship between Knowledge leadership and Job performance in Birjand University staff. Also, the results of regression test showed that among the components of Knowledge leadership, learning orientation, supportive learning atmosphere and practice in the role of role model, respectively, 26, 35 and 14% of the Job performance scores, respectively, explain separately. While supporting the learning process, it has not been able to explain the Job performance of the staff at this university. Overall, the results showed that the model based on the role of Knowledge leadership with Job performance has the necessary fit according to the mediating variable of Organizational culture.
