Abstract

The present research is conducted to study the effectiveness of SCHEMA THERAPY on increase of WOMEN’s SEXUAL SATISFACTION. The method of this research is quasi-experimental.The statistical population of this research is consisted of those WOMEN who have visited Vahdat Behzisti counseling clinic. Twenty WOMEN who gained lower average scores in ISS (index of SEXUAL SATISFACTION) were randomized assigned in two groups of 10 individuals, one as control group, and the other as experimental group.The experimental group received SCHEMA THERAPY through 9 sessions. Both groups were tested and evaluated two times as pre-test, post-test. Findings of the research were analyzed applying covariance analysis approach, and the results suggested that SCHEMA THERAPY was effective in the increase of WOMEN’s SEXUAL SATISFACTION.
