Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to explain the ultimate goal of MORAL education from the Islamic PERSPECTIVE (verses and MORAL narrations). In this article, verses and narrations were chosen with two criteria as "knowing God as the center of the universe" and "Practicing MORAL commandments ". Research method was Hierarchy Analysis method with philosophical approach. The analysis of data and interpretation of verses and narrations was done by inductive method and continuously with data collection. In this research, intermediary goals have been achieved such as: gaining benefits and avoidance of world damage, attaining of likeness to God, benefactors and modest position and MORAL liberty. Then the intermediary goals are classified using hierarchy method. . Findings of the research indicated that gaining benefits and avoidance of world damage (consequentialism) was at the lowest level and outstanding servants of God (MORAL liberty) was at the highest level. The outstanding servants of God means those special servants of the Lord that believe doing MORAL acts as their duty and they don't require the consequences of MORAL action.

Abstract:

The aim of this paper is examining and criticizing a new concept in MORAL education named MORAL literacy. Recent years, MORAL literacy approach attempts to redefine MORALity in the framework of literacy and via that, return MORAL education to the school. Logical-conceptual analysis of “MORAL literacy” indicated us some constructive elements of this combination like competency, knowledge, acquisition, rule, value and human action. On the other hand, formal- technical language analysis of it reveals three conceptual elements in MORAL literacy named: MORAL sensitivity, MORAL reasoning and MORAL imagination. This two kind of analysis, encounters us with conceptual challenges. These challenges are 1) reductionism in interpreting MORALity to literacy, 2) conceptual contradictions in MORAL literacy, 3) conceptual; overlapping of constructive elements, and 4) doubt insufficiency of MORAL literacy for actualization MORAL human.

Abstract:

The pillar of Qur'anic MORALity is God, who is the source of all objective and infinite virtues and perfections. MORAL development means being divine in the cognitive, behavioral and emotional aspects through the acquisition of divine attributes and actions, which are exemplified in the attributes and actions of God and the attributes and actions that God has considered desirable for human. Human, in his special nature and creation, has the gift of becoming divinity and deification, and many factors play a role in the flourishing and growth of this talent. Factors affecting MORAL development from the Qur'an's point of view are of two types: epistemological factors and non-epistemological factors. Instinctive knowledge of virtues and vices (non-acquired epistemological factor), attention and thinking (awakening) and faith are acquired epistemological factors of MORAL development, and inheritance, nutrition, environmental factors, occult principles, will and authority and righteous action are the non-epistemological factors of this development. This study has been carried out by a library-documentary method and content, descriptive, and inferential analysis, with the aim of examining the factors affecting MORAL development based on Qur'anic teachings.
