Since the establishment of Green Management System in various organizations is one of the government’s priorities and due to the importance of Green Management for a decrease in the consumption of resources such as water, energy, paper and waste management, the implementation of this System in the National Library of Iran is a necessary issue, which is studied in the present paper. First, the goals were defined and the framework for the correct management of resources consumption (Green Management) was specified. Then, the consumption of resources at the National Library was studied so that managerial solutions could be offered. To this end, the Library was visited several times, certain checklists and questionnaires were completed, and the necessary data were collected and analyzed.The obtained results regarding the fuel energy consumed by transportation in the National Library show that among the generated pollutants (CO2, CO, NOx and hydrocarbons), CO2 has the highest rate (904 Kg). CO (6 Kg), NOx (2 Kg) and hydrocarbons (0.58 Kg) are in the next ranks. Among energy-consuming equipment and appliances, refrigerators produce the highest amount of CO2, SO2 and Nox. The CO2 produced by all of them amounts to 1140.32 Kg; the figures for SO2 and NOx are 3.9072 Kg and 2.886 Kg, respectively.As to the consumption of water, the results show that the total amount of water consumed by the Library is as much as 45459 L/Y, most of which (32471 L/Y) is used for the irrigation of green space. Regarding wastes, 30 times of sampling revealed that most of them were aluminum and paper wastes. The amounts of CO2, SO2, NOx and particles were 19475 Kg, 77.54 Kg, 57.4 Kg, and 2.92 Kg, respectively.Finally, it has been made clear that the Green Management can help optimize the use of resources and reduce the costs.

School Library, at all levels, is a fundamental element in the educational process. School Library is a lively and dynamic place wherein the process of identification, collection, organization, and distribution of information takes place and is managed. Managing information is one of the necessary skills of a librarian in the process of managing knowledge. Information consultant or te librarian is a chain link between the students and teachers. The librarian facilitates accessing information in an appropriate length of time by selecting appropriate sources and creating organized collections. Te active role of the Library and the librarian in transferring organized information makes it necessary that these factors be attended to. In this paper the status of Library and librarian in Iranian educational System is reviewed.

Purpose: According to the problems of visually impaired people in the Library, this research aims to introduce a model with respect to existing methods, using RFID technology and cell phone to resolve the problem of searching books without the librarian guidance and investigates the possibility of using this technology in libraries that have open stack. According to the current design, a model is proposed for implementation in blind special libraries (Shiraz Blind Library as the case study).Methodology: The modeling approach was used for implementation of the research. A collection of hardware equipments and related software, Library studies and databases acted as dataset for this research. By means of the mentioned data, the model was created and analyzed through simulation.Findings: In proposed model, reader hardware reads RFID tags identifier and sends the prepared information to the cell phone by USB cable. The prepared information searches the indexed information of books that have same codes and next to it, calls the player to play the sound of the targeted book information.Originality/Value: According to Article 9 of the International Convention of People with Disabilities, and UNESCO Public Library Manifesto in 1994, and authors. investigations, there is no similar pattern of integration of RFID technology and cell phone. The proposed model with relatively low cost of needed soft and hardware can help blinds remarkably.

This study aims at putting forward the proposal to run an inter-Library loan (ILL) System in Islamic Azad University (IAU) libraries. Using survey method, 84 central libraries of the major branches of Islamic Azad University were under investigation. A questionnaire was administered to measure the standards of the university libraries, technological equipments and facilities, telecommunication and networking. Then, possibility analysis and needs analysis of the proposal was done from Library managers’ point of view. The results indicate that libraries undergo certain shortcomings regarding their organization and management, and their annual budget is floating.99% of the libraries are equipped with LAN and 95% have internet connections. 54.2% of the libraries have cooperation of any kind with the other libraries, 48.6% of which is related to ILL. According to the managers, the potential problems for running an ILL System include lack of efficient management framework, lack of a comprehensive book classification in IAU, lack of a comprehensive information network, the possibility of losing and damaging sources, low budget, lack of computerized, telecommunication and network facilities, expert human resources, approapriate regulations and lack of mutual cooperation of the libraries.

This study explores the motivational components within teacher rating Systems and their impact on professional growth motivation. Employing a Systematic review approach, it investigates texts pertaining to teacher rating Systems, motivation, and professional development literature. By examining various texts and research findings on teacher motivation, factors influencing teacher ratings based on general, specialized, and professional competencies, as well as experience, are identified. Drawing parallels with Herzberg's motivational theory, this study provides recommendations to bolster teacher motivation and job satisfaction through improvements in the rating System.
