This research developed to study the status of knowledge management at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), based on nonaka's theory as well relationship between knowledge management and organizational culture. Examining of the process of knowledge management has done in terms of it major components including socialization, externalization, combination an, internalization. Two questionnaires advantaged to assess the status of know manaement and its relation to organizational culture at FUM. The subject this study are Deans of faculties and their deputies and chairs of academic departments in the FUM. The result indicates that Internalization has highe position in contrast with socialization, externalization and combination. An managers have less trend to sharing their skill, experiments and knowledge other members of the university. In fact, they critically trend to individualis competition manner in their apprach to the knowledge management. The research also shows a significant relationship between the knowledge management and organizational culture. According to the results, the organizational culture is recognized as a major factor that affects process of knowledge.

Total quality management (TQM) is considered as those activities and managerial system that emphasize on customers satisfaction continious quality improvement, decision- making based on inputs provided through need assessment, and participation of all members of organization. There are many countries studies about this management approach in developed and developping countries that have benefyed them. There has started a movement in Iran regarding TQM which present study is one of them in higher education.Statistical population of the study is all of the Isfahan University's faculty members and students and statistical sample was selected through stratified sampling. Data was gathered through check-list and questionnaire and were analyzed by deseriptive and inferential statisles.Findings showed that all of four TQM indices have been used less than optimal level. With regard to necessity of teaching process improvement at university, revising the present managerial approach and substituting them with new approaches like TQM is a must. And this requires knowing more and get familiar with TQM.

This Study was carried out to identify the major factors contributing to dropout amang 3rd grade junior High school girl students in the city of Ahvaz in the academic year 2001 / 2002. 200 students who had failed their courses at least once were randomly selected from the total population of failed female 3rd graders of the city of Ahvaz. Two measures were used to collect data: (1) a questionnaire consisting of 95 items exploring the causes of dropout and a measure to provide an index determing situation of academic failure among the target population. Factor analysis of the data yielded 6 factors, explaining 43.8% of the questronnair's variance. Based on their roles in the amount of variance they explain, the factors are 1) Teaching related problems, 2) familial problems, 3) curricular (content) problems, 4) physical and mental health problems, 5) general problems, and 6) educational administrative problems. All 6 factors had satisfactory reliability and validity. All 6 factors significantly correlated with number of times students had failed. Male student junior High school third grade J. Grade famale students major factor contributing to dropout among junior High school third girl students in the city of Ahvaz.

This study is aimed to survay the impact of hidden curriculum on the students of Ferdowsi university of Mashhad. At the first, phase interviews were performed with a sample of last semester students, about their viewpoint on what university students learn in a hidden or implicit way during their studies. Based on the collectd data, 11 areas of changes were extracted: religious identity, national identity, scientific identity, addiction susceptible identity, rule of the game, responsibility, cheating, group work, self-control, hope in future, and impudence in relationship with a member of the opposite gender. In order to measure the categories of change, valid scales were developed and administered on 289 students from education, chemistry, and electrical engineering departments who were in first, fourth, or last semester. The results showed that; scores for religious identity, national identity, scientific identity, responsibility, and hope in future were reduced; whereas, scores on other item were increased, except for group work, which remained unchanged.

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between dimensions of perfectionism and personality in a sample of students from the University of Tehran. An exploratory analysis was performed to assess the kind of association exist among three dimensions of perfectionism (self- oriented, other- oriented, socially prescribed) and five personality dimensions including neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness, conscientiousness. Five hundred twenty students (260 boys, 260 girls) were included in this study. All participants were asked to complete Farsi version of the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (FMPS) and Revised NEO Personality Inventory (NEO-PI-R). Analysis of the data involved both descriptive and inferential statistics including means, standard deviations, pearson's correlation coefficient, and regression analyses. The results revealed that all three dimensions of perfectionism were positively associated with neuroticism and conscientiousness, and negatively associated with openness. Girls had higher rcores on socially prescribed perfectionism than boys. Dimensions of perfectionism seemed to influence Big Five factors through their factes.

Theoretically, well known psychologists have had relatively different attiludes towards religion. Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis and Ellis, The founder of rationale- excitemental psycho- therapy had a negative evaluation of the role and influence of religion on mental health and human behavior. Others, such as James, Young, Alport, Moslow, Adler, and Fram had a positive attitude towards the influence of religions faith. In research, There are some contratory results about the issue. Most research reports illustrate a useful impact of religious faith on behaviors. However, a few research have pointed out the negative role of religion in life.In this paper, the attitude of well knows psychologists has been reviewed. Also, the functions and the role of religion in the domain of research are discussed pointing to teories which can enhance religious effects.

Divorce statistics are increasing in the countoy, Iran, Day by day. This great social problem threatens the basics of family so that man hadn't faced the threat of the destruction of the family and its consequent negative effects like today before in any era. A society will be at the crisis throshold if in which there is an increase in the rate of divorce. Therefore, the society should think about lowering divorce rate. The main reasous of divorc should be entrirely eradicated with regard to the destructed families. In this respect, this study inspects the issue of law divorce statistics in yazd province from a familial point of view and attempts to speacify the role of familial factors in law divorce statistics in yazd, Ardakan & Meibod cities. The research method is descriptive - analytic. The statishical population cousists of family counsellors and judages of the family court in yazd, Ardakan & Meibod. Ten expert counsellors from these cities were chosen as the sample withregard to the aim of research. Due to the fact that judges were not enough, all the four family judgdes were selected from the province (Yazd) for interviewing. In order to gather data, semi-structured interview was used and it was analyzed by c1assifficationmethod. The results of the research show that familial factors such as religious belie, intervention of older members of family, the dependence of the wife to her husband, daughter's modling from her mother, the lack of family sapport divorce and the financial support of the parent s were effective and had an important role in law divorce statistics in yazd, Ardakan & Meibod.

The research examined the relationships among self - efficacy beliefs, locus of control and academic performance. The subjects of this research were 359 undergraduate students of Tabriz, with stratified random sampling, have been chosen at the University of Tabriz. Questionnaires have been used: I-Shears et al's General Self- Efficacy Questionnaire, 2- Russell Causal Dimensions Assessment Scale Questionnaire (Locus of Control Dimension).t-test and Pearson correlation have been employed for analysis of the results. The results of the research show that: there is a meaningful and positive relation between self-efficacy beliefs and academic performance; there is a meaningful relationship between locus of control in success setting and academic performance and there is a meaningful relationship between self-efficacy and locus of control in success setting. Also there was not a significant difference between locus of control and self - efficacy belifes of male and female students.
