Immigration to metropolises has turned to be a crisis in societal and economic security of nations. Most of such immigrations occur due to various reasons resulting in problems such as tiredness and bereavement. These problems can lead to deeper problems like delinquency. The present paper tries to clarify the relationship between immigration and armed robberies in metropolises Tehran. The role of committing armed robberies will be determined. Some strategies against the problems are also presented.

Drug addiction is now considered an Important societal harm. In has been proved that legal and policing confrontations with drug addiction produces insignificant results. Some believe that drug addiction is an illness so physical approaches and strategies to dealing with it would not be the solution.That is why many governments tend to budget on preventive measures. Communications and mass media could play a significant role in preventing campaigns.Studies on the role of Iran’s newspapers in preventing drug addiction proved the papers lack of attention to the issue. The present paper aims at exploring the problem to introduce efficient strategies in this regard.

This paper explores the amateur and professional drivers mental health status. 453 of the drivers have been examined using SCL – 90 – R and a questionnaire. The data was analyzed based on descriptive statistical indices, X2, and t-test. The findings demonstrated no significant relationship between the two groups of professional and amateur drivers. The relationship between the drivers use of medicals and accident proved to be significant.

Syllabuses of the police students who are the graduates of non – military universities should be planned in a way to satisfy their future career requirements. The present paper has identified and determined subject matters for different types of Iran Police University students including the above mentioned ones. The results of the analysis show that recruiting such students and applying them in operational jobs is not appropriate; They are suitable most in other nonoperational jobs. The findings also demonstrated that the subject matters passed by the students graduated in law are shared most by the police university students studying in law Enforcement jobs.

Planning techniques and models should be taken into consideration in strategic decision – makings in any organizations. In recent years, Unifying business, service, and technology strategies has gained specific importance. Technology planning has turned to be a vital component of the organizations business. Technology forecasting as the starting point of technology planning, provides the necessary information for selecting proper technologies and clarifies the future of the organization technology. The Police organization has now doubled their use of informational and communicational technologies for appropriate service – giving to the public and combating criminals. Technology forecasting deserves to be attended to more seriously in the plice organization. The present paper tries to clarify the importance of technology forcasting and its relationship with strategic planning in technology – oriented organizations like police.

Increasing trends toward the advanced technologies including computer and the internet has paved the way for the emergence of cyber crimes. As such crimes occur in the virtual space, the process of prevention and identification is of modern challenges to the police and legal systems. Iran has not joined any international convection about cyber crimes. Such crimes as the cyber crimes share unique features. Officers dealing with such crimes should be trained specifically in computer sciences to get fruitful results. Since the roots for committing crime in the virtual space are basically electronic. There seem to be no way out of preparing the ground for the investigators field training.

Growth of juvenile crimes is among the issues that attracted the attention of public opinion in recent years. Exploring the causes of juvenile delinquency can lead to combating delinquencies and crimes. Clarifying “criminal responsibility” is vital in determining the limits of juvenile criminal responsibility, appropriateness of criminal and noncriminal reactions, and legal decision making. The present paper tries to analyze the juvenile “criminal capacity” and “criminal responsibility” according to international and internal laws. Causes of juvenile delinquency are also briefly explained.
