Abstract: 

The presence of the phenomena of adverse selection in Iranian life insurance market which is one of the side effects of asymmetric information causing inefficiencies and market failure is studied and examined in this research. To test the research's hypothesis, i.e. presence of adverse selection, required data was collected from individuals with different risk aversion levels through cluster sampling.The presence of this phenomenon was confirmed in Iranian life insurance market using the ordinary least square regressions. The results show factors like gender, doing hard and risky activities, risk level, that monthly salary of a family and illness and individuals’ prediction of their healthy life span confirms the presence of adverse selection. On the other hand, the phenomenon called advantageous selection is confirmed by variables such as education, worry for future and law-breaking behavior.

Abstract: 

Accident and health insurance is a kind of personal insurance. Some questions arise about the above-mentioned insurance due to its spread and diversity. One of the most important questions is about describing the legal nature and treatment of accident and health insurance contract. This article scrutinizes existing theories and the nature, pillars, features and description of these contracts. Accident and health insurance contracts are other than mentioned contracts of civil law. Due to status and role of third party, three types of third party commitments with different legal natures exist. Accident and health insurance contracts have both required and prohibited descriptions, simultaneously and a bilateral, definite, continuity and ceremonial contract. Also, it has possible and circumstantial conditions.

Abstract: 

Today, the intensification of competition in the fields of production and services is increased and keeping customers and increasing their loyalty becomes harder. So, safeguarding the interests of customers may be effective on increase of their loyalty. This research aims to identify and prioritize the factors which affect on loyalty of Iran Insurance Company’s customers. In order to do that, European Customer Satisfaction Index is used and three factors consist of customer satisfaction, perceived image from company and software perceives qualities are considered.310 questionnaires are distributed among the insured’s of Iran Insurance Company and 267 filled questionnaires have been collected. The results show that in 95% confidence level, all identified factors are affecting the two main loyalty measures of Iran Insurance Company’s customers, i.e. repeat purchase and introduction the products to others.

Abstract: 

Customer readiness evaluation in insurance industry is very important in order to change customer behavior for accepting new technologies and substituting (or combining) with the other traditional buying methods. There is a close relationship between successful investment on e-insurance establishment and high level of customer readiness for internet buying. This research evaluates customer readiness for accepting automobile e-insurance and measures its acceptance level. Results show that among customer readiness variables, motivation is more important than two other variables, i.e. ability and role clarity. Moreover, as a result of hypothesis testing, among all effective factors on costumer readiness variables, only age and gender does not show significant relationship.

Abstract: 

In this research, in order to recognize the factors which affect demands for physician’s professional liability insurance, ARDL and ECM approaches are used, in Microfit software during the time period of 1369–1385 (1990–2005). The results show that among variables, the rate of premium has the greatest effect on the demand for physician’s professional liability insurance and in the lower levels, number of agencies, national income, and loss payment, effecting demand for insurance. According to the obtained results, hypothesis which pertain the positive relationship between this kind of insurance and the variables of loss payment, national income and number of branches is confirmed and inverse relationship among premium rate with demand for the insurance is proved.

Abstract: 

This research tries to study the barriers against development of electronic commerce in Asia Insurance Company by using three branch model (behavioral, structural, contextual factors) and adding a fourth dimension (natural factors). Main hypotheses of the research contemplate the relationship among contextual, structural, behavioral, natural factors with the lack of E-insurance development in Asia Insurance Company. To analyze these hypotheses, Binomial Test, Pierson Solidarity Test, Friedman Test and Linear Regression Test are used. Tests and analysis show that all above-mentioned factors are the obstacles of implementation and development of E-insurance in Asia Insurance Company and according to Linear Regression Test, natural, behavioral, contextual and structural factors has the most importance and effectiveness, based on Beta Coefficient, respectively.

Abstract: 

In this article, we are going to investigate the relationship among quality of work life and emotional intelligence with productivity. The statistical society is employees of insurance companies in Tehran and a sample size consisting 300 of them is randomly selected. Questionnaires were used to collect data. Emotional intelligence is measured by Schutte et al. test, and quality of work life and productivity are measured by researcher-designed questionnaires with 29 and 22 questions and Cronbach Alpha is used to estimate reliability of elements. Based on the results, total reliability coefficient of the productivity questionnaire was 81%, reliability coefficient of the total quality of work life questionnaire was 86% and emotional intelligence test reliability coefficient is equal to 80%. Pearson's coefficient of contingency and stepwise regression are used for data analysis. Results show that with 1% of significance level, quality of work life and emotional intelligence and their dimensions has significant relationship with productivity and at 1% significance level, quality of work life and charity, had highest and lowest of the regression effect on productivity, respectively.
