Full Text [PDF 989KB] Introduction: Early detection of coronary artery disease is critical. Previous studies show that new methods of artificial intelligence for prediction and diagnosis of diseases have been widely considered by the researchers. The purpose of this paper is the classification of angiography to normal and abnormal by using Artificial Intelligent methods. Methods: In this diagnostic study, the datasets were collected from 152 patients who had been undergoing the coronary angiography, and for classification of the angiography results, a combination of fuzzy neural network and genetic algorithm is used. The proposed system was implemented and evaluated by MATLAB software. Results: In implementation of the proposed system, 85% of the data was used for the training phase and the remaining 15 percent was used for the test phase. The results of the simulation in accuracy, sensitivity and specificity indicators on average state were 0.9496, 0.9253, 0.9435 and 0.9569, respectively. Under optimum conditions, an estimate of 1 was obtained for each indicator. Conclusion: The use of genetic algorithms in ANFIS training phase led to improved speed of the simulation. Also the high performance indicators prove that the proposed system is effective for classifying and diagnosing patients with coronary heart disease.

Abstract:

Introduction: The aim of this study was to compare the effect of lumbo- pelvic general and specific exercises on pain and lumbar movement control in patients with low back pain. Methods: 44 subjects with age ranged 30-40 years old with nonspecific chronic low back pain were recruited. Before and after the implementation of two different types of general and specific training protocols for lumbo- pelvic area, the pain and movement control measurement were done by using visual analogue scale and Lumajoki tests respectively. Results analysed by analysis of covariance, independent and paired t test. Significant level was set at 0.05 in SPSS program version 22.Results: The results showed that the general and specific training led to pain decreases (General: 37%) versus (Specific: 52%) and movement control improvement (General: 39%) versus (Specific: 53%) that advantage in both situation is of specific exercises. Conclusion: The results of this study revealed that motor control process in patints with low back pain has not sufficient flexibility and therefore these persons compulsorily adopting the strategies that this might has a new destructive cosequences for patients. After implementation of lumbo pelvic specific training, significant differences was gained in pain and movement control that can be the attention of future researchers for helping this persons contemplation and prevention.

Introduction: The prevalence of obesity as a health problem is known in all over the world, as well as diseases associated with obesity, including insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease has spread. The present study investigates the effects of eight weeks of aerobic exercise on insulin resistance, body composition and cardiorespiratory fitness in overweight women. Methods: In this semi experimental study, 21 overweight women aged 20-30 years, randomly divided into 2 groups of experimental (n=10) and control (n=11), were followed for 8 weeks of aerobic exercise. The exercise program consisted of five sessions per week for 30 minutes and with an intensity of 55%-75% heart rate reserve (HRR). Fasting glucose and insulin, HOMA-IR, anthropometric indices and maximal oxygen consumption were measured before and after eight weeks. Results: Weight (P=0.048) and body mass index (P=0.002) significantly decreased, on the other hand, VO2max significantly increased (P£0.05) in experimental group. Only the mean changes in weight (P=0.003) and body mass index (P=0.025) was significant between the two groups. Conclusion: Aerobic exercise in overweight women has beneficial effects on weight and body mass index. However, these interventions can be used to help prevent chronic diseases in obese and overweight.

Abstract:

Introduction: Recent evidence has shown that the asthma patients have lower antioxidant capacity (TAC) than healthy individuals. However, little information on the influence of TAC on lung function is available in these patients. This study aimed to determine relation of TAC with Spirometric markers in these patients. Methods: For this purpose, thirty sedentary adult males with mild to moderate asthma aged 40±7 years were enrolled to study by targeted sampling. Fasting blood samples were collected with regard to measuring TAC of all patients. Anthropometric and spirometry markers (FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC) were also measured in all patients. Data from TAC and other variables were analyzed by Pearson correlation. Results: Data showed that TAC was positively correlated with FVC (P=0.036, r=0.48), FEV1 (P=0.002, r=0.73) and FEV1/FVc (P=0.001, r=0.77) in studied patients. Conclusion: Based on these data, it is concluded that TAC is a suitable marker for predict lung function and disease intensity in males with asthma.

Introduction: Dyes are one of the main pollutants in textile wastewater and due to their molecular structures, they are usually toxic, carcinogen and persistent in the environment. Therefore, the aim of present work was to compare the efficiency of LECA and coral limestone to remove Methylene Blue aqueous solution from synthetic wastewater. Methods: This work is a basic-applied study in which, LECA and coral limestone were used as efficient adsorbents for removal of Methylene Blue aqueous solution. The parameters studied included absorbent weight, contact time, dye concentration and solution pH. As well, data acquired from equilibrium constant were evaluated using various isotherm and kinetic models. Results: The results of the experiments showed that absorption of Dye by both absorptions was increased by increasing the pH, contact time and adsorbent dosage. By increasing the concentration of dye from 50 mg/l to 100 and 150 mg/l, the removal efficiency of organic matter and color has been reduced. The results showed that constant equilibrium data obeyed both isotherm models, With the difference that Langmuir isotherm model showed a higher correlation coefficient in the use of calcareous coral absorber (R2=1) and higher LECA absorption coefficient (R2=0.999) in using Frendlich model. Also checking the data showed that kinetics of methylene blue removal is followed by both kinetic models that in this case, the second-order kinetic equation showed a higher correlation coefficient (R2.870).Conclusion: According to the results, it was determined that coral limestone has higher efficiency than LECA in removal of Methylene Blue aqueous solution. The use of these adsorbents due to rapid sedimentation and lack of effective residual in the wastewater can be easier to use than other adsorbents.

Introduction: The integration of T (8; 21), or AML1-ETO, is the most common translocation in acute myeloid leukemia at both ages of children and adults. The occurrence of this genetic integration is effective in the future of the patient's treatment and has a prognostic role. In the Iranian population of acute leukemia, this genetic integration is unclear and its prevalence is unclear. Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the integration of AML1 / ETO gene in children with leukemia referring to Imam Khomeini Hospital in Tehran. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 58 children with acute myeloid leukemia with different morphology during the year 95 were evaluated. After peripheral blood supply, the mononuclear cells of the patients were immediately removed. Also, the peripheral blood lymphoma was prescribed to confirm leukemia. Single-core cells were extracted from patients with complete RNA. Using PCR molecular techniques, Nested PCR and Real-Time PCR were used to evaluate the integration. Results: The results of this study showed that the age range of the children was between 4-5 years old. The sex ratio was 53.5% female and 46.5% male.80% of the subjects had this genetic integration, as well as their plasma mRNA was significant. In the peripheral blood test, hemoglobin concentration was 9.6 g / dl and the average white blood cell count was 70500 / ml.Conclusion: Considering the frequency of integration of this gene translocation in the Iranian population studied, it seems that the use of this integration is useful for determining.

Introduction: Diabetes is a highly prevalent disease that causes damage to the vascular system. The aim of study was to predict risk factors associated with diabetes type II by using logistic regression. Methods: This is an analytical- cross sectional study. The data are related to the Mashhad study, which began in 2008 and are so far continues. The population studied is all individuals aged 35 to 65 years old living in Mashhad. Samples including 9386 individuals were selected with using stratified-cluster sampling. Demographic data, anthropometric indices, blood pressure, anxiety, depression, physical activity level, food patterns, and inflammatory, blood and biochemical factors were recorded. SPSS software was used to analyze the data. A significant level of 0.05 was considered. The logistic regression model was fitted to investigate the factors associated with type 2 diabetes. Results: The prevalence of type II diabetes was 13.9% (1387 cases). The results showed statistically significant association between age, anthropometric index, blood pressure, depression, dietary patterns and type 2 diabetes (P<0.05). Also, inflammatory, blood and biochemical factors were significant (P<0.05).Conclusion: Most of the factors associated with type 2 diabetes are lifestyle-controllable variables, so it is better that focus on general education and prevention to promote healthy lifestyles at the community level.

Abstract:

Introduction: Obesity is an established risk factor for fatty liver and metabolic syndrome. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of aerobic training on liver aminotranspherase activity (AST, ALP) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) in adult obese women. Methods: In this semi-experimental study, twenty eight sedentary adult obese females (36≤BMI≤36) were randomly divided into exercise (n=14) and control (n=14) groups. Exercise subjects were participated in 12-weeks aerobic training program, 3 times per week at 60-75% of HRmax. Pre and post training AST, ALT and ALP activity as well anthropometrical indexes were measured at 2 groups and compared with independent-paired T test. A significant level of 0.05 was considered. Results: At baseline, no significant differences were observed between groups in liver enzymes activity and anthropometrical indexes (P>0.05). Compared to pre training, despite no change in ALP activity (P³0.114), a significant decrease were observed in activity of AST (P£0.023) and ALT (P£0.011) by aerobic program in exercise group. Aerobic training resulted in significant decrease in anthropometrical indexes of exercise subjects (P£0.05). There were no changes in these variables between pre and post training in the control group (P³0.05).Conclusion: The supervised aerobic training provides an effective and safe treatment on liver enzymes activity in obese women. These benefits could be attributed to decreased fatty tissue especially abdominal fat by training intervention in obese subjects.
