Although theatre and play entered into Arabic literature during the contemporary period, with a review of classical Arabic literature, we find narratives and anecdotes that have considerable exhibitory or dramatic contents. Introducing such stories, we could provide invaluable resources to contemporary dramatists and thereby report past literal works for contemporary generation and provide contemporary exhibitory works with more mature content and richness. This article is an attempt to measure exhibitory capacity of Hariri's Maqamat.Maqamat consists of fifty dramas written between 495-504 Hijiri .A review of stories from the Hariri work makes it clear that they have "dramatic structural" elements such as exposition, orchestration, disturbance, conflict, suspense as well as "exhibitory elements" like theme, event, character, dialog, setting and action. Using a descriptive and analytical method, the current paper tries to introduce exhibitory capabilities of Hariri's "Maqamat" hence, to inspire contemporary dramatists with themes from stories of the proposed book.
