Having a glance at Ash'arite, Mu'tazilite, and Shiite theological methods, the present essay deals with theological method of Ibn Maytham-who is a very brilliant and in Shiite theological realm- through investigating some of his major works and presenting numerous evidences from his opinions in order to prove that his theological method is intellectual.A notable point in this writing is that it, in addition to expounding Ibn Maytham's theological method, makes the reader familiar with some cases in which he has opposed philosophers and theologians due to his intellectual method clarifying thereby that he has always been a follower of reasoning since he does not care opposing others' opinion as soon as he attains an intellectual proof. The present essay, however, does not intent to criticize his opinions.

Discussing, investigating, and writing about the Quran commenced shortly after its descend and developed in later centuries. One may classify those works and identify pioneers of any category and science through investing extant writings as well as those mentioned in the earlier sources. Dividing Quranic sciences on the basis of writings, this essay introduces pioneers of writing in each of those sciences and expounds their writings and qualities. Thus, it clarifies what is published in this regard and criticizes existing opinions concerning those who initiated writing on major Quranic sciences.

Among old traditional heritage of the Islamic world are books written by hadith narrators on supplication. Recognition of gradual evolution of such works is possible only when each of them is recognized, their difference in style of writing is specified, and finally the proof of such differences is expounded on the bases of similarities and variations of their historical appearance. The present study intends to distinguish various methods of formulation of supplication books first, differences of view of their authors in choosing and arranging hadiths of supplication secondly, different factors of appearance of such methods and styles thirdly, and classification of them on the basis of differences observed in the works finally.

Sunni and Shiite scholars held from the very beginning that, on the basis of relevant hadiths, Imam Ali's mushaf had been in accordance with the revelation and in opposition to the prevailing arrangement. However, some have recently maintained that those hadiths asserting that his mushaf had been in accordance with the revelation are suffering from some problems. Investing those hadiths as well as those claimed problems, the present essay indicates that such problems are irrelevant and those hadiths are valuable bases for proving that Imam Ali's mushaf had been in accordance with the revelation.

Abolfotuh al-Razi is an outstanding preacher of Ray in the sixth Hijri century. His style necessitates special consideration of hadith related to Quranic commentary. Narrating 2017 hadiths indicates clearly the great status of hadith in Abulfutuh's commentary. This fact causes various functions for hadith in his commentary, with which the present essay deals, such as expounding meanings of Quranic terms, determination of instantiation for Quranic general concepts, emphasis upon appearance of Quranic verses, description of divine precepts in juristic verses, distinguishing Meccan from Medinan verses, determining abrogator and abrogated verses, explanation of spritual rewards for reciting Quranic surahs, interpreting ambiguous verses, and description of causes of revelation of verses.

Mustapha Sadiq al-Rafi'i is an Egyptian poet and man of letters in 19th century the main themes of his poems and works being Quranic-religious notions. The present essay attempts to present a brief report of his life, generation of his personality, and the rate of influence of social environment upon him. Introducing his Major work, which are mostly of religious tendency indicating explicit and implicit influence of the Quran and religious concepts upon him, are taken into consideration as well.

The question of good and evil is among problems discussed by scholars and researchers from ancient times. Existence of evil affairs such as death, disease, disaster, poverty, impotence, pain, suffering, difference in creation and society, war, and Satan has caused some to believe in the lack of justice in the cosmic order. The approach of contemporary religious critiques to the question, however, has remarkably changed.Presenting answers of Islamic sages to the questions, the present essay offers the approach of some contemporary thinkers in this regard and precisely analyzes the problem from a philosophical perspective through expounding some well known opinions.

Speaking of future has always been attractive for man causing him to think about this strange fact, while no source can reveal its secrets about the revelation. Based on this, future is to be considered as the Unseen in which all Muslims should make faith Surveying the future in the Quran will lead to realization of comprehensiveness of this majestic book on the one hand and observing method of that great book in processing the future on the other.
