Interdisciplinary studies, especially in the Islamic domain, have been attractive to researchers in recent years. Research methodology, however, remains one of the main issues in this aspect. Introducing and explaining a reliable and valid method for Islamic management research as depicted by the Holy Quran is the main purpose of this paper. To this end, the concept of Quranic contemplation and interpretation, and related interpretive methods and approaches are briefly discussed, and interdisciplinary management studies derived from the Holy Quran in recent decades are explained and those studies that have used these methods are categorized. Inductively, five strategies for Quranic contemplation methodology have been identified; sign- (Ayah) oriented context- (siagh) oriented, sura-oriented, story-oriented and problem-oriented strategies. Each strategy has its own functions, process, strengths and weaknesses that are mentioned here. It can be claimed that there is not a unique form of Quranic contemplation methodology but there are other ways that can be employed according to purpose, subject, researche’r skills, time and etc. At the end of this paper there are two subjects that should be considered for internal and external validation: Itghan (internal) and Ifadah (external) validity and their indexes.
