Abstract: 

Context and objective: Identifying the factors affecting creation of job motivation is a necessity that may aid for increasing the productivity and job satisfaction of academic board members. This study has been applied with the objective of determining the factors affecting creation of job motivation for academic board members of NAJA Training Deputy.Methodology: 82 members of academic board of studied population have been participated in this research as the sample. Methodology of this study is descriptive-survey and study examinees were tested by means of national document questionnaire according to Herzberg theory the reliability of which has been calculated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient (a=88.14). The data were analyzed by absolute and relative frequency distribution and t-student test aiding SPSS software.Findings: No significant correlation exists between job motivation and health factors in the respective population. No significant difference exists between job motivation and motivational and health factors of academic board members of NAJA Training Deputy. No significant difference observed between motivational and health factors in terms of educational level, teaching record and recruiting status in the population. According to the studies applied on the priority of motivational and health factors for establishing the job motivation indicated that the academic board members of NAJA Training Deputy deem the health factors more important in establishing the job motivation.Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate that motivational factors as well as health factors are effective on creation of job motivation but this correlation and relationship between job motivation and health factors is more positive and strong. However, the general results of this study don't support the theory of Herzberg concerning that the motivational factors deemed as the main origin of motivation and job satisfaction, but is not corresponding to the findings of Herzberg et al stating health factors don't cause the increase in motivation and job satisfaction.

Abstract: 

Context and objective: This survey study intends to consider the effects of social-political factors on the security feeling of citizens of ilam. The studied subject has been investigated as the ideas on the micro and macro levels. Then, the respective hypotheses have been extracted from these ideas. For studying the effect of social-political factors on the security feeling except contextual factors, social base, social trust, direct victimization and other variables have been used.Methodology: This research has been applied based on Cochrane formula on a sample consisted of 384 citizens over 16 years old of ilam in summer 2009 by filling the questionnaire and different tests have been applied thereon.Findings: according to the findings of this study a significant and inverse correlation exists between the age and security feeling. But a significant difference exists between security feeling of women and men. Furthermore, the relationship between education, social trust, direct victimization and security feeling was confirmed. As well as, the relationship between observing the citizenship rights by the government and security feeling has not been confirmed.Conclusion: The summary indicated that variables such as social trust, direct victimization, observing citizenship rights and religiousness have had relationship to some aspects of security feeling (social, political and economical aspects) means these hypotheses have been confirmed.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Security is a fundamental and sustainable need, so that meeting the other collective needs depend on security. Enhancement of threats by other trans-regional countries, terrorist threats, and software in the virtual environment have led NAJA to develop its strategies based on 2025 outlook document and through analyzing the internal and external environment. NAJA is aiming at answering the question: "what are the most important strategies for public security?".Method: Descriptive and analytical method is used in the research, and SWOT pattern, and comments of the sophisticated persons well-known in the public security field are used. Meanwhile, network analysis process and super decision-maker software are used for this purpose, as well.Findings: After extracting the weak and strong points and threats on the basis of a number of factors based on the threats of the US and its allies, the strategies analyzed in three steps. The importance of the public security strategies determined with respect to priorities, after wards, the most important decisions extracted in the public security atmosphere.Conclusion: The present research conducted through using super decision maker software and extracting super matrixes, and network drawing in the framework of a goal, four criteria and 24 sub-criteria. The results indicate that opportunities and threats in external atmosphere are of the same priority in terms of priority, but in internal atmosphere the strong points are twice more than the weak points. Finally, the research offers some recommendations for improving public security after wrapping up the whole points.

Abstract: 

Context and objective: Methadone maintenance treatment may improve the different health indices of supported individuals particularly in the state prisons, therefore the objective of this study is investigating the effect of methadone maintenance treatment on the quality of life of prisoners supported by Tehran Province in 2009.Methodology: This study is descriptive analytical and as respect to achieving the goals is applied which has been applied on two test and control groups in 2009. For collecting the data, demographic data and quality of life questionnaires were used. Statistical analysis of collected data has been provided aiding SPSS (xp) XIII software and by means of descriptive and analytical statistics methods.Findings: Out of 250 answerers in test group, 27 persons (10.8%) were in Evin prison, 135 persons (54% in Ghezelhesar prison and 88 persons (35.2%) in Rajaeeshahr prison. The significance level of quality of life aspects including "using the loss reduction services and plans", "salary problems solutions", "improvement of familial relationships", "self-improvement solutions", "negative sensations inhibiting solutions", "health problems confronting solutions" and "addiction problems confronting solutions" were respectively equal to 0.012, 0.009, 0.021m 0.045, 0.037, 0.053 and 0.001.Conclusion: In general, executing methadone maintenance treatment plan for the prisoners supported by this plan has improved the quality of their lives' index and by applying more appropriate mechanisms may extend the execution of this plan allover the world and reduction of relative risky diseases in the prison and society.

Abstract: 

Context and objective: Whereas the people have various level of needs and each one of these levels require its particular reaction or style, its is necessary the management to identify before everything the employees' needs and importance and priority of these needs as their viewpoint in order to be effective on their efficiency by timely meeting. The importance of this study is that university chancellors can utilize it in the managerial policies by identifying the level and priority of needs of academic board members of the IRI Police University for effectiveness of academic board members' activity and role. The present study has been applied with the objective of specifying the level of IRI Police University's academic board members needs based on the Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory.Procedure: This research type is applied and descriptive-correlative method has been applied. The data were compiled by 60-item questionnaire filled by 165 members of academic board. The data were analyzed in this study aiding SPSS software.Discussion and Conclusion: The obtained results indicate that the needs of IRI Police University's academic board members has not adaption to the Maslow's hierarchy of needs and the members have declared their needs respectively as 1- self-actualization, 2- social, 3- respect, 4- physiology, and 5- security. A significant relationship exists between five needs of IRI Police University's academic board members and their age and gender. As well as, a significant relationship exists between five needs of IRI Police University's academic board members and their education, service years and membership type and the hypotheses were confirmed and a relationship exists between the initial and secondary needs of IRI Police University's academic board members.

Abstract: 

Context and objective: The objective of applying this research is studying the relationship between emotional intelligence of police commanders and managers of Great Tehran and leadership styles and their job success.Procedure: The research procedure applied for analyzing the data of this study is correlative method. The population of this paper is consisted of all commander and managers of Police Force of Great Tehran serving in different staff units, deputies, police stations etc. a sample group consisted of 420 persons has been selected out of the different units of FATEB, deputies, police stations through random sampling and questionnaires of leadership styles of Luthans and transactional leadership styles, emotional intelligence and job success were filled by them. Out of this sample, 407 utilizable questionnaires were analyzed statistically.Findings: The results indicated that a positive relationship exists between the emotional intelligence and its subscales and collaborative and transactional leadership style of commanders and managers of great Tehran, and negative relationship to authoritarian style. The other findings of this study indicated that a positive relationship exists between emotional intelligence and its subscales, and job success of commanders and managers of Police Force of Great Tehran. As well as, a positive relationship exists between collaborative and transactional leadership styles of police commanders and managers of Great Tehran and their job success and a negative relationship between authoritarian leadership style of police commanders and managers of Great Tehran and their job success. The other results of this study implied that a positive relationship exists between age, education and service years of police commanders and managers of Great Tehran and emotional intelligence and its subscales. One of the other findings of this study is existing positive relationship between age, education and service years of police commanders and managers of Great Tehran and collaborative and transactional leadership styles, and their negative relationship to the authoritarian leadership style. As well as, the results of this study indicated that a positive relationship exists between age, education, and service years of police commanders and managers of Great Tehran and their job success.Conclusion: According to the summary of this research, it is concluded that the managers of high emotional intelligence benefit from more appropriate leadership styles for leading their employees and consequently the have the capability of understanding the others and managing the emotions and relationships of themselves to the others, rapid and exact evaluation of status, flexibility etc. that are required for successful and efficient leadership. As well as, the managers of older age and higher service records apply more the collaborative and transactional styles relationship between these styles and job success has been proved, thus it is concluded that electing and applying the experienced managers with high emotional intelligent managers may be effective on the efficiency and their job success.
