The Center of cities are the location of most important functions. It reflects the social, administrative and economic conditions of a city. This article discusses the status of city center in Amol city by analyzing the existing land use. The borders of central city were determined first and then the status of each land use in terms of intensity, diversity, distribution and their relation with the city were analyzed. The findings and suggestion of this analysis are presented at the end.

Following the appearance of economic and social problems as well as environmental ones in megalopolises and the quality downturn of life in these megalopolises due to extremely intensity of population and activities, building new towns strategy has been chosen, with the aim of decentralizing megalopolises. In achieving this goal, forecasts has been done for new towns in different intervals, mainly in the field of population and employment. Now after this period, it is appropriate opportunity for evaluating those functions.This paper evaluates the new towns of Tehran (Hashtgerd, Pardis, Parand and Andisheh) ranks them, using "standardized score" in connection with absorbing forecasted population for those cities in given period. Results show that Tehran's new towns don’t perfect in the population absorbs that for those forecasted.

Parallel to systematic planning, evaluation subject has become a major issue. It is expected that rural guide-plans are prepared based on physical and functional orders. This paper intends to evaluate structural patterns of 30 rural guide-plans in Iran in 30 various provinces, using AHP Model. Within the research conceptual framework, four criteria were selected as creation and continuity of major road, creation of a single network of different centers, functions for spatial unity, and spatial hierarchy order. Characteristics of roads, roads facilities, the number of centers, empowerment of major centers, public land uses in rural structures, spatial functions, and changes in public and private spaces and roads hierarchies are among sub-criteria. The research findings showed that the empowerment of major roads is acceptable. However, the creation of centers together with their sub-criteria is not acceptable. The criterion of functions together with its sub- citeria of public land use in structure is, because of their distance scales, on average; therefore, it is necessary to empower this criterion. The criterion of spatial hierarchy is also on average. Considering the positive and negative points in prepation of rural guide plans, several issues and items can be considered for improving such plans. These recommendations are presented in a table within the conclusion of the paper.

Since formation first state that manage tribal form than modem state we can see in there organization of space and power. While political organization of power interested to read about power distribution from center to around.In the ancient greek political organization of space based on a system of city- state that firstly emerged in Summeria state and slowly develop in Greek. Reading historical source we could not assumption that exist of geography factors example Rivers, mountains and gulfs cause the formation of city state. But system a city state should search in tribal and ethnic prejudiced. In ancient Iran in spite of exist different ethnic, extreme population and abroad territoriality political organization of space based on different satrap, that based on region difference thus federalism emerged in ancient Iran.

The Navab Housing Project has been one of the most significant renewal projects at resident areas in Tehran that needs to be studied for satisfaction assessment for success assessment. This paper attempts to present resident's satisfaction assessment research project was conducted at three phases of the above mentioned residential project in Tehran. Some personal and family's variables were studied for their affects' on the satisfaction level of various residents' social groups there. Data collection was conducted at the study field using a questioner filled in for a sample of 270 residents there. Data analysis has been also conducted using the SPSS software. The analysis results express satisfaction of the residents on their houses to be at mid-level. Theoretical mode was estimated to be equal to 3. Factors including the satisfaction variable on residential unites by their residents shows that full satisfaction was only expressed on security level of the residential complex.The factor of "relationships among neighbors" was estimated at mid-level. Other factors such as facilities of the residential complex, landscape and view, and physical significances of the complex were associated with dissatisfaction. Importance assessments of these factors show that the complex facilities was of top-importance from the residents point of view, while the security and view factors took the lower positions.The results of factor analysis support this experimental model by high level (89%). This was concluded from literature review on .similar subjects. On factor analysis of personal and family's variables and their affects on satisfaction levels expressed by the residents, none of these variables were affecting.

Site selection plays a critical role in decision-making about location for rural planning. In this paper, a literature review of location theories and models in the context of site selection. Two main models have been suggested for decision-making: discrete and continuous models. In discrete models alternatives are given but in continue models alternatives are indefinite. This paper compares the models TOPSIS as discrete ones and index overlay and Boolean as a continuous models. Usually, the discrete models use location decision matrix and continuous models use GIS function as tool analysis. We compare these models with evidence of rural production units. Case study is Torqabeh district at north of Mashhad in Khorasan province.

The present paper researches the most important fundamental cultural landscape paradigms in rural areas in western Iran across the Zagros Mountain and the relationship between the physical components of the landscape and cultural patterns based on local considerations namely the cultural landscape. The research findings show that the culture of rural people causes an especial landscape in each region in Zagros Mountain over the time, which known as the cultural landscape of the Zagros rural settlements. It can also be mentioned that the relief of the land is affected by the cultural patterns and then, the most important fundamental cultural landscape paradigms of Zagros rural settlements are emerged.In this research, the author applies the descriptive-analytic method. In first part of the paper, theoretical framework of the research has been prepared by the author by means of library documents and Latin references. In the second part, the author has focused on studying and analyzing the satellite images and aerial photos. In addition, the author has focused on two case-studies of Varkaneh and Shahrestaneh in the Hamadan Province and used the field research and informal observation as two significant research tools to investigate the most important fundamental cultural landscape paradigms of the Zagros rural settlements in western Iran.

The general goal of this paper is to examine the effects of tourism on rural development areas and present suitable strategies to reach development in these regions and finally adopt an optimum developing pattern. In order to get to the designed goal, the field work and library study were done. It should be mentioned that after preparing field works were done to get aquatinted with the regions situation and inspecting the capability of target region in absorbing tourist. Generally, two kinds of questionnaires for common people and officials were prepared. The result from SWOT analysis indicated that in rural area inspected for case study, there are 9 strength elements in front of 11 interior weakness points and opportunity as advantages and 20 weakness points and threat as limitation of the case study rural area is very high and needs to reconsideration and presentation of adequate policies to remove the weakness and threat by taking advantage of strength points and opportunities. The result from the analysis indicates that from the view point environmental attractions, the ecological attractions of the study region have "the priority in development of tourism which was advised to put emphasize on it for expansion of natural tourism and ecotourism.
