Abstract: 

The driver forces in environment that determine how interacting factors affect each phenomenon, have an important role in shaping the future. The aim of this paper was Identification and ranking of driver forces affecting the future status of digital media. To this end, in the first step, the environmental scanning technique was used to understand the changes taking place in the digital media field. A list of 12 effective forces on the digital media field was prapered: Virtual world, smart world, online responsiveness to needs, mobile technologies, driver’ s tools, information security, flash technology, big data, technology price changes, Internet penetration, green technologies and other sciences. In the second step, the interaction analysis method and Page Rank algorithm were used to determine the effect of these drivers’ effects. For this purpose, key drivers were given to fourteen academic and executive experts in order to assess their impact on each other. The findings showed that mobile technologies (with impact of 10. 7%), technological price changes (with impact of 9. 6%) and Internet penetration (with impact of 9. 5%) are three effective drivers on digital media, respectively.

Abstract: 

Revayate Fath includes documentary films that recorded eight years of resistance of the popular forces. The significance of this series lies not only in recording the military and historical events, but also in the conceptswhich was accompanied by great pleasure at the time, and even now it has been widely distributed from national media. This is while the audience reading process among the younger generation of such media products can be different and sometimes is distorted or lack of attention. The main goal of the research is meaning analysis and feasibility of narrative analysis of the war documentary film. The research method is qualitative, with an analytical approach. This research was applied and aimed at discovering the implied meanings in a war documentary film, then case “ Reza” selected purposefully from Revayate Fath series. After identifying the production method of the film, the explanation and meaning analysis of the underlying concepts was discussed according to Nichols mode and Barthes' five-level codes. The perception of the documentary "Reza" is due to the arrangement of implicit signifiers that through the verbal system and the Intra-text narrator refers the audience to the outside of the text and takes place through the chosen method.

Abstract: 

Lack of a comprehensive business model for maximizing the use of capacity of mobile smartphones to generate revenue in IRIB is a serious emerging problem. The purpose of the article was a suggesting mobile smartphone-based business model to increase the revenue of IRIB recruiting mobile smartphones. For this purpose, the customized Strooleder business model was used as the theoretical framework, and the Delphi method was used for data analysis. The main findings of the study were infrastructure and platform development, recruing and maintening expert human resources, producing with regard to diversity and plurality to satisfied the needs of all audience groups so producing suitable exellent content, cooperate with all actors in the production arena, distributing and policy making of content alongside creating a content marketplace for audio and video production, taking a role of regulator and using specific capacities of the organization (such as archive) in line with the national media ecosystem. This model could be a theoritical basis for media activities of broadcasting organizations on the new media such as mobile platforms.

Abstract: 

The research was conducted with the aim of studying representation of happiness in family series of IRIB TV during 1991 to 2015 Based on the social learning theory in the observational learning point of view. The research method was quantitative analysis using descriptive techniques. At first, the scale of the representation of happiness was designed, based on the Islamic model of happiness, then seven series were selected purposefully with popularity and impact criteria, and according to the nature of happiness in the Islamic pattern. Then 677 scenes were selected as the final samples, using random stratified sampling. The registration unit was acting. The research had two main categories: Satisfaction and Vitality. The results showed that satisfaction had the lowest and the subcategory of worldly pleasures of the category of vitality, had the highest representation. Negative actions were also presented in the category of satisfaction and the category of spiritual pleasures, then these 7 series did not represent the true image of happiness in Islam, according to the Islamic model of happiness, which seeks to achieve happiness in reducing negative actions against positive actions in pleasant and unpleasant situations, and the balance between enjoyment of worldly and spiritual pleasures.

Abstract: 

A wide range of factors affect media choice by audiences. The main goal of this research was comparative study of reasons for media preference of local and foreign television channels using Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP). Data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire based on pairwise comparison from a sample of 26 media experts and 105 citizens of Tehran in 1396. First, a 7 × 7 matrix was created and then, different dual criteriacriteria were compared assigning the hourly table values. Finally, the research findings showed that the greatest influence on media preference of local and foreign television channels is associated to the criterion of trusty. After that the criteria of satisfying, variety of programs, entertaining and taking out of grumpy mood, meeting the needs and educational motivations are the next factors influencing respectively. It is also worth noting that the access cost criterion was at the least rank.

Abstract: 

Celebrities in different arenas have significant presence in many of the messages that are produced and published every moment in mass media. Celebrities presence either in news, that deal with the various dimensions of their activities, or in messages that use them for commercial, political, and ideological contents. In this paper, we studied and explained comprehensively the role of Celebrities in the communication process of mass communication. The research method was content analysis. First, interviews with the professors in the field of communication were designed and implemented at the universities in Tehran. Then based on the interviews and documentary study, an e-mail contains 5 general questions sent to 177 professors in the field of media, experts in the field of stars and celebrities, and media researchers in America, Britain, Australia, Netherlands and Iran. Twenty responses and 2 interviews out of received responses were identified suitable to analysis, then coded, analized, and the results presented in the form of model. According to the results of the study, Celebrities were created in a certain process due to the repetition of name, face, and news in the media and their attractiveness was used as an influencing carrier to get attention of audience to media messages.

Abstract: 

Iran's nuclear activities have been highlighted in the media news over the past decade, especially in the US TV channels. The purpose of this study was how CNN and NBC News represents Iran's Nuclear negotiations with Iran and P5+1 in Vienna, using Fairclough critical discourse analysis at three levels of description, interpretation and explanation. The statistical population included 52 news of CNN and NBC channels from which 12 news released in July 1395 were selected as a sample. The findings showed that these channels by representing the US as savior of the world and a negative image of Iran because of achieving atomic bombs, interfering in the region, and supporting terrorism, tried to make Iran fearful. CNN accused Iran of compulsory concurrence, but NBC represented the concurrence as a powerful factor for Iran and a threat to the security of Israel and Saudi Arabia and struggled that nuclear deal could endanger world peace and put the Middle East at the worst tensions.
