Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy of cooperative teaching method on the attitude and academic achievement of the fifth-grade students in mathematics in Gachsaran city. 93 girl and boy students who were randomly selected fell into two groups of control and experimental where in the latter students experienced cooperative teaching method. Each group took a pretest and posttest. Pretest measured their Math achievement ability and their attitude to mathematics. After the treatment was carried out in the experimental group, the data in both groups were analyzed. Data analysis indicated that mean score of the experimental group was significantly more than that of control group. Also, the scores of the attitude survey showed a significant difference in experimental group. Furthermore, although mean score of the boys is more than that of girls, it is not significant. The research results showed that although using cooperative teaching method, rather than traditional method, was significantly more effective and increased the positive attitude of the students to study mathematics, it was not significant regarding the variable of gender.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of the present study was to do a survey the effective leadership among Islamic Azad university (IAU) managers. The population consisted of all the IAU managers in different IAU zones. Using cluster random sampling, 558 managers were selected. A researcher-made Questionnaire of Effective Leadership was administered on the employees. The results of one-way ANOVA and LSD follow-up test analysis indicated that there was no significant relationship between IAU managers’ effective leadership regarding the zones of the university. Also, the mean score of the managers’ effective leadership in zone 3 was higher than zone 10, zone 8 higher than zones 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, and 12, zone 9 was higher than 6 and 10, and finally zone 11 was shown to have higher mean score than zones 6 and 10.

Abstract: 

The main objective of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of group training, based on transactional analysis affecting the aggressive behaviors of the girl students of grade one in high school, in the city of Rasht. This experimental research was carried out on 40 individuals from those students who were rated “high” in aggression test (AGQ).This sample was selected through the phased random selection and it was divided in two equal groups (experimental and control group),randomly. Subsequently, the group training program was represented to the experiment group, after the method of transactional analysis, based on the assembly of concepts, within 8 ninety-minute sessions for each week , and during this period, no interference was imposed on the control group. Then, after the end of training, the AGQ-test (post-test) was applied to both experiment and control groups simultaneously and under the identical circumstances. The obtained information from the pre-test and post-test were analyzed using the statistical T test for the independent group and MANOVA. The additional obtained results suggested that there was a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (P=0.0001). In other words, the experimental interference (group training based on the transactional analysis) has given rise to reduce the aggression and its components in experimental group.

Abstract: 

The present study has been conducted using a survey method in order to identify development strategies for participative management in educational organizations. The population has been made up of all school principals, their deputies, and teachers in the city of Tehran summing up to the total number of 95905, and the sample of 1094 subjects which have been selected according to Morgan sample volume table. The required data has been gathered through a researcher-made, twenty-six item questionnaire, with each item giving five choices. The questionnaire was prepared based on Likret criteria. The questionnaire validity has been observed by twenty experts, and its reliability calculated as 87% using Cronbach alpha. Using descriptive and inferential statistics, the result was analyzed. It was indicated that the most important development strategies for participative management in educational organizations are as follows: the preparatory dimension of a participation system includes 6 factors, the discipline dimension 7 factors, the gradual development dimension 7 factors, and the management and administration dimension 6 factors.

Abstract: 

This study aimed at comparing mental health among students who are studying in different fields of study in Islamic Azad University (IAU) Karaj Branch. In this descriptive research which was a causal-comparative type of study, 330 students were randomly selected out of eleven faculties in IAU Karaj branch. The General Health Questionnaire (GHQ) (1997) was administered to measure the mental health of the students. The results of MANOVA and Tukey follow-up test analysis indicated that there was a significant difference in total scales and all subscales of general health among students in all eleven faculties.

Abstract: 

هدف این مطالعه، بررسی تاثیر روش تدریس همیاری بر نگرش و پیشرفت تحصیلی درس ریاضی دانش آموزان پایه پنجم ابتدایی شهرستان گچساران است. بدین منظور با روش تصادفی 93 دانش آموز دختر و پسر از دو آموزشگاه در دو گروه آزمایش و کنترل قرار گرفتند، که گروه کنترل به شیوه سنتی و رایج و گروه آزمایش در معرض روش تدریس همیاری قرار گرفتند. از هر دو گروه پیش آزمون و پس آزمون گرفته شد، یعنی قبل از دخالت متغیر مستقل، برای کنترل رفتار ورودی دانش آموزان، پیش آزمونی از محتوای مورد آموزش و همینطور سنجش نگرش دانش آموزان نسبت به درس ریاضی به عمل آمد. پس از اجرای متغیر مستقل یعنی اعمال روش تدریس همیاری، پس آزمون پیشرفت تحصیلی بوسیله فرم همتای پیش آزمون و آزمون سنجش نگرش نسبت به درس ریاضی اجرا گردید. نتایج نشان داد که میانگین نمرات دانش آموزان گروه آزمایش بطور معناداری بیش از میانگین نمرات دانش آموزان گروه کنترل است. همچنین مقایسه نمرات پیش آزمون و پس آزمون نگرش در گروه آزمایش تفاوت معناداری را نشان می دهد. علاوه بر این هر چند که میانگین نمرات آزمودنیهای پسر بیشتر از میانگین نمرات آزمودنیهای دختر است این تفاوت معنادار نیست. نتایج پژوهش حاکی از آن است، که گرچه اعمال روش تدریس همیاری در مقایسه با روش آموزش سنتی در پیشرفت تحصیلی دانش آموزان بطور معناداری موثر است و موجب افزایش نگرش مثبت دانش آموزان به درس ریاضی می شود، اما در ارتباط با متغیر جنسیت معنادار نبوده است.

Abstract: 

This study investigated the relationship between management styles (participative and traditional) and the teacher's creativity. The study is conducted based on a survey on a sample taken from the population. Teachers in high schools throughout Kermanshah city constituted the population of the study, a random sample of which was drawn using stratified random sampling method. 275 teachers were finally selected as the sample for the study. Data for the study was collected using two questionnaires designed by the researchers. The validity and reliability of research tools were calculated using item analysis, factor analysis, and Cronbach's Alpha. Variance and regression analysis were administered to analyze the data. The results indicated that there was a positive and significant relationship between the management style of leadership and the teacher's creativity. The female managers proved to be more influential on the teacher's creativity. In the study, it has been confirmed that the more supervision by the teachers themselves and the more the managers have utilized the two-way and open styles, friendship styles and delegation in their approaches, the grater levels of teachers’ creativity has been observed.

Abstract: 

The main aim of this research is to validate a scale for measuring the effects of internet on family values. In this survey study, data were collected administering a questionnaire which included 50 items in likert scale. The sample included 384 students of Islamic Azad University Roudehen branch randomly selected using stratified and simple random sampling method. SPSS software was implemented to analyze the descriptive and inferential statistics. Alpha coefficient for variable was calculated to be 0.90 at first but it turned to be 0.95 deleting item 16. Principal component analysis was done using Varimax rotation to receive 7 factors including: sincere atmosphere, sensational relationship and group discussion, acceptance rate in internet, parents’ awareness of their children’s using computer, internet addiction, family values, and satisfaction of being anonymous.

Abstract: 

This research was done to create an acquaintance with the subject of knowledge management, its effects on schools success and its utilities in teachers’ activities. The population of the study in this project consisted of the whole number of girl high school students in Tehran among which we randomly chose a sample of 381 girls, studying in the second grade. The research tool, with which the data were gathered, was a questionnaire in the form of four-choice items. The resulting data were analyzed by doing descriptive and inferential statistics (independent t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient). The results of the analysis showed that the more the teachers are familiar with the elements of knowledge management, the more they act in it and it brings about an enhancement in their performance. (These elements include: discovery and invention of knowledge, inclusion of students’ cooperation, the share of students’ knowledge by teachers, getting benefits from technology and the evaluation of students by teachers.).
