Abstract

The main purpose of the present study was to do a survey the EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP among ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY (IAU) managers. The population consisted of all the IAU managers in different IAU zones. Using cluster random sampling, 558 managers were selected. A researcher-made Questionnaire of EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP was administered on the employees. The results of one-way ANOVA and LSD follow-up test analysis indicated that there was no significant relationship between IAU managers’ EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP regarding the zones of the university. Also, the mean score of the managers’ EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP in zone 3 was higher than zone 10, zone 8 higher than zones 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, and 12, zone 9 was higher than 6 and 10, and finally zone 11 was shown to have higher mean score than zones 6 and 10.
