Abstract

The present study has been conducted using a survey method in order to identify DEVELOPMENT strategies for PARTICIPATIVE MANAGEMENT in EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS. The population has been made up of all school principals, their deputies, and teachers in the city of Tehran summing up to the total number of 95905, and the sample of 1094 subjects which have been selected according to Morgan sample volume table. The required data has been gathered through a researcher-made, twenty-six item questionnaire, with each item giving five choices. The questionnaire was prepared based on Likret criteria. The questionnaire validity has been observed by twenty experts, and its reliability calculated as 87% using Cronbach alpha. Using descriptive and inferential statistics, the result was analyzed. It was indicated that the most important DEVELOPMENT strategies for PARTICIPATIVE MANAGEMENT in EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS are as follows: the preparatory dimension of a PARTICIPATION SYSTEM includes 6 factors, the discipline dimension 7 factors, the gradual DEVELOPMENT dimension 7 factors, and the management and administration dimension 6 factors.
