Abstract: 

The aim of the present study was to explore the relationship between organizational structure, organizational effectiveness, and the empowerment of the employees of the ministry of education in different regions of Shiraz city. The research method was descriptive and correlational. The population included staff members of four regions of the education office in Shiraz, and employees of regions 1 and 4 were selected randomly from the population. To determine the sample, 141 subjects were selected through stratified random sampling. For data analysis, mean and standard deviation were used for descriptive statistics, and Pearson correlation for inferential statistics. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between organization structure and dimensions of organizational effectiveness. There was also a significant relationship between the organizational effectiveness and different dimensions of empowerment.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between organizational culture and knowledge management in different departments of education in Tehran. Research method is descriptive and of correlational nature. In the present study, 36-item questionnaires were used to measure organizational culture and knowledge management through Morgan table. The sample included 61 employees (managers and professionals) in different regions of Tehran, and the reliability of the test was calculated as 0.95. In order to examine the variables of organizational culture (Group culture, Adhocracy, Market, Hierarchical) and knowledge management variables (knowledge creation, knowledge sharing and transfer of knowledge) analytic statistics was used in this study. The results of data analysis reveal that cultural variables are at high level, indicating the ideal level of the organizational culture in different educational departments in Tehran. However, variables of knowledge management are at the average level of education that shows the application and implementation of knowledge management is not at an ideal level in educational system in Tehran.

Abstract: 

The Purpose of this research is to study the relationship between organizational commitment and self-monitoring among primary school teachers in Zahedan (district 1) in Iran. The method of research is descriptive and of correlational type. 274 out of 1050 primary school teachers in Zahedan (district 1) were selected through simple random sampling. Two 18-and 14-item questionnaires made by the researcher were used for data collection, and data analysis was done through SPSS software (version 17). The results show that there is the meaningful and positive relation between (a) teachers' organizational commitment and their self-monitoring, (b) teacher’s organizational commitments and personal emotions (r=0.19), (c) teacher’s organizational commitments and relation with others (r=0.35), and (d) teacher’s organizational commitments and intrinsic control (r=0.53).

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study is to investigate the performance of employees in different regions of Islamic Azad University. The population included all the employees in different regions of IAU out of which 1096 were selected through stratified random sampling. The instrument for data collection was a researcher-made questionnaire, including 48 questions, developed based on Hersey & Goldsmite's ACHIEVE model. It was given to the sample and the collected data underwent statistical analysis through one-way ANOVA and LSD test. The results of data analysis revealed that: (a) There is a difference in the average of employee's performance in different regions of IAU and (b) This average indicates that from among 17 regions investigated in this study, regions 6, 7, 5, and 12 have received higher scores for their employees' performance compared with other regions.

Abstract: 

The aim of this research was to investigate the correlation between knowledge management and organization climate in different institutions of Higher Education. The research method is descriptive and of correlational type. The population included the staff, faculty members and employees, of different institutions of higher education in Iran, such as IAU, Payam-e-Noor, and Elmi-Karbordi. Based on Morgan chart, our sample included 165 people, which were selected through stratified random sampling. To collect the data, two standardized questionnaires were used. The first one was knowledge management questionnaire with 38 five-choice questions including such items as, knowledge acquisition, knowledge sharing, and knowledge use. The second questionnaire measured the organizational climate with 42 questions, 21 of which were related to managers' behaviors towards the staff and the other 21 were related to staff behaviors towards each other. To analyze the data, both descriptive and inferential statistics were used through the application of SPSS. Data analysis revealed that there was a positive correlation between knowledge management and organizational climate in different institutions of Higher Education. It also showed that increasing the knowledge of employees in different institutions of higher education could improve organizational climate in such institutions.

Abstract: 

The existing theories indicate that management can be defined in terms of its functions, so there are different definitions based on various functions some of which are repeated in most definitions. The present study which is a descriptive research was conducted to investigate the managerial functions in organization-, relation-, and situation-oriented styles of management. Statistical sample contained 375 members including 17 managers selected from 17 districts of ministry of education in Tehran, as well as 322 employees in the same districts who have been working at least for 6 months in different regions of Tehran. Measurment instrument used in this study was a 24-item researcher-made questionnaire developed based on Likert scale. One-way ANOVA and post-experimental comparisons (Fisher, Tokey, and Shefe) were used for data analysis. Data analysis revealed that the application of planning is mostly observed in organization-oriented managers compared with relation-oriented ones. Also organization-oriented managers pay more attention to organizational functions compared with situation- and relation-oriented managers. Moreover, decision-making function is considered by organization-oriented managers more than other managers. And finally, the control function receives more attention by organization-oriented managers compared with others.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between quality of work life and the emotional intelligence of managers with knowledge management. The research population included all the managers and employees of Tejarat Banks in Tehran out of whom 600 were selected using stratified and cluster random sampling. Three questionnaires were given to the sample members for data collection: (a) Knowledge Management questionnaire (Salys and Jones, 2002) which is composed of 42 items (a=0.98), (b) the 29-item QWL questionnaire of Walton (1973) (a=0.93), and Sybrya Shrink's Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (1996) that consists of 33 items (a=0.83). The results of multivariate linear regression analysis showed that: (a) there is no significant relationship between emotional intelligence and knowledge management, and (b) there is a significant relationship between knowledge management and quality of work life.

Abstract: 

The aim of this research is to survey the feasibility of establishing knowledge management in education organization in Ardebil. This research is applied and its method is descriptive (survey). Out of all the employees in education offices in Ardebil in 1390-1391, 240 were selected through stratified random sampling. A researcher-made questionnaire was used for data collection. Its validity was determined by experts in the field and its reliability was calculated as 0.8 through Cronbach Alpha. The collected data was analyzed using T- test and SPSS software. The results of data analysis revealed that establishing organizational learning, human resources, and organizational culture was higher than average, policies and knowledge management strategies were about average, and information technology and management were lower than average. The findings of this study can be applied in designing knowledge management system in education organizations.
