The present paper is an attempt to study a contemporary author, critic and artist from Kuwait in the hope that it may lead to more thorough researches in the analysis of comparative studies of Iran and countries around Persian Gulf- whose cultural as well as economic interactions has a long historical background- eventually culminating in praiseworthy works.This paper is a literary review of some masterpieces, the product of prolonged years of study of an author who is considered among Kuwait’s outstanding contemporary writers and whose works and critical perspectives have been echoed in the modern literature of the Arab world.

The present article considers literary works and the criteria for their evaluation. It argues the relationship between construction and consistency.Construction and consistency are like the two wings of a bird for literary works.The article also discusses imagination, grace and other factors which cause construction and consistency.

The present article is an attempt to review the Syrian Short Story from the period between 1931 to 1947 and its development.Syrian Short Stories in this period are affected by cultural, political and historical events.

Due to the existence of different criticism criteria in different eras, the critics have applied different and sometimes opposing methods in literary criticism.The present article studies the popular methods of literary criticism and the evolution of one special method which has been called preference in some era and comparison in some other era.

The present article studies the status of poetry after the emergence of Islam.

The present article surveys the personality and the life of Mohammad Maghout and studies and analyzes the play of the Hunchback Sparrow in regards to the form and content.Mohammad Maghout is one of the most prominent poets and writers from Syria in the temporary century. Such a personality is worth to be studied through his works to understand his concerns and thoughts.

The present article is about the Zemakhshari’s Al-Kashaf commentary. In this book the author has paid a lot of attention to the literary aspects of Quran.One of the most important aspects of this commentary is it’s lexical analysis of the words.The researcher then compares these analyses with those which exist in Quran while providing reasons and explaining his views about them.

Khatib Tabrizi is a famous scholar from fifth Hijry century. He has been named with positive and negative characteristics.This article studies and judges the things he has been accused of or appraised for. Also his scientific status and historian views about him and his role in literature are discussed in the present article.
