In this study in the period of 4 months, 50,000 broiler chickens were inspected in Kerman industrial poultry slaghterhouse for dermatitis. In this duration on the basis of macroscopic inspection, 12 carcases were condemnated and bacteriological and histopathological examinations on them were performed. In bacteriological study from all the carcasses E. coli alone or with Staphylococcus aureus was isolated. The strains belong to O78 and O2 serogroupes and some of them could not be identified. Histopathological lesions in all of the cases were characterized by thicking of the dermis and granulomatous inflammatory reaction.
