The present study aimed at comparing the psychological symptoms of patients suffering from chronic pain and normal individuals in Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory (MCMI); therefore, 321 individuals (193 individuals suffering from chronic pain and 128 normal individuals) were selected and tested by the administration of Medical Evaluation of Pain Questionnaire. Results indicated that the two groups differed in the rate of dysthymic disorder, post traumatic disorder and pseudo- physical symptoms of anxiety disorder.

The research purpose is to assess the psychometric properties of Satisfaction with Life Scale; therefore, 400 university students (200 males and 200 females) were selected through multi-stage random sampling and tested by Satisfaction with Life Scale, happiness and depression. Results indicated that the internal consistency and the reliability of the scale equal to 85% and 77%, respectively. Factor analysis showed that satisfaction with life scale is a single-factor measure. Moreover, this test is considered reliable in measuring the satisfaction with life amongst students.

The research purpose is to carry out an investigation into the self-efficacy’s aspects in predicting the students’ happiness, therefore; our sample comprised 200 individuals who had been selected through multi-stage cluster sampling and simple random sampling among from the high schools of Roudehen city. The acquired data analyzed indicated that the students’ happinessis significantly, positively correlated to the students’ self-efficacy .

The research purpose is to assess the efficacy of cognitive behavioral intervention focused on the fear of death in the reduction of the symptoms of hypochondriasis; therefore, 18 individuals diagnosed with hypochondriasis were selected through the accessibility mode and assigned to the experimental and control groups. The experimental group underwent ten sessions of cognitive behavioral intervention focused on the fear of death. Results showed that symptoms of hypochondriasis is in experimental group was significantly lower than the control group in posttest and follow up (p<0/001).

The research purpose is to draw a comparison between personality traits and socio-personal adjustment of adolescents in single-parent and two-parent families of Isfahan. Therefore, 160 students were randomly selected and tested with regard to personality traits and socio-personal adjustment. Results proved no significant difference between the adolescents belonging to single-parent and two-parent families, resident in Isfahan.

This analytic cross-sectional study was performed to assess the relationship between husband's abuse and married women’s quality of life. Hence, 1000 women attending to Gachsaran health centers were selected through the availability mode and tested with regard to abuse and quality of life. Results indicated that the quality of life among 46.1% of women, abused by their husbands was significantly lower in all domains compared to non-abused women (p<0.0001).

The research purpose is to investigate into the efficacy of group spiritual intervention on increasing hope and mental health of women suffering from breast cancer; hence, 60 females were randomly selected and assigned to control and experimental groups. The experimental group underwent 8 sessions of group spiritual-based educational and mental interventions. Results indicated that there was an increased level of hope and mental health in the control group.

Health is the state of complete physical, mental, social and spiritual wellbeing due to neglecting psycho-spiritual aspects in the traditional oncology department; here we introduce a comprehensive center responsible for all the aspects of health in managing cancer patients. Comprehensive Cancer Control Center (CCCC) with an integrated team including surgical, medical, radiation oncologist, nutritionist psychiatrist, psychologist and spiritualist is a comprehensive center with responsibility for all the aspects of health in all duration of cancer management period; such as diagnosis, treatment and palliation period. CCCC is also accountable to caregivers’ education and minimizing the risk of burnout among them.
