Abstract: 

The purpose of this research is to compare the communication skills and life quality of physically active and physically inactive academic staff members of Islamic Azad Universities of East Azerbaijan Province. The statistical population consisted of the academic staff members of Islamic Azad Universities of East Azerbaijan Province, from among whom 342 people were chosen after preliminary studies, and the research questionnaires were distributed among them. The variables of the research were measured by three types of life quality questionnaires (Walton, 1974) and communication skills questionnaires (Martens, 1987). In order to analyze the gathered data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used. Also, for the examination of the hypothesis of the normality of data distribution, Climograph-Smirnoff test was used, and for the examination of the isotropy of all research variables, Levin Test was used. To analyze the inferential findings, T-test and Pearson's Correlation tests were used. The results indicated that: - The average age of sample faculty members was 37.53 years. - Among subjects from academic degree point of view, faculty members with M. A. degree were the most (79.5%). - Among sample faculty members there were 266 male and 76 females, 260 of whom were married. - Among 342 people of the subjects, 209 people regularly had physical exercise in the last one year. Most of them (66.5%) had physical exercise twice a week. - Regarding the quality of physically work life of physically active and inactive faculty members there was not a meaningful difference. - The comparison of communication skills of physically active and inactive subjects showed a meaningful difference.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this paper is to assess the use of knowledge management process and its five main stages-gaining knowledge, recordeding knowledge, knowledge transfer, knowledge creation, and the application of knowledge in the organization- using fuzzy set theory. The statistical population consists of 75 members of service organization personnel. Due to the limited number of the statistical population, no sampling has been done and all the population has been studied. In order to collect data, a questionnaire has been used, the validity and reliability of which have been tested and approved. The results of the study indicate that in the organization under study the rate of applying the five main stages (process dimensions) of knowledge management is at an average level. Also, there is a considerable difference between the present situation and the desired situation of the five main stages of knowledge management in the organization under study.

Abstract: 

Nowadays, managers try to use scientific methods to increase the quality of goods, and simultaneously reduce their final prices as well. Condition Monitoring (CM) is one of the methods which has been popular among industrial managers in recent years and of course it has provided many benefits for organizations. Analyzing the vibrations is one of the condition monitoring methods, and by using it we can avoid rework, and reduce the company's costs considerably. To show this effect for efficiency improvement of production process, Mazandaran Wood and Paper Industries has been selected as a case study, and the vibration analysis, one method of the conditions monitoring has been applied. In this research, we have shown how to prevent stoppages and damages of the equipment by in-time awareness and by imposing preventive repairs. Secondly, considerable conservation in consumption of parts and manpower will be achieved for repairing and maintenance of equipment in order to guide the organization toward efficiency improvement.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of this research is measuring the degree of development in East Azerbaijan towns based on some development indexes in order to obtain the quantity and reasons of regional non-equality along with presenting some solutions for decreasing the degree of non-development of the areas. The method of research is descriptive - analytical using HDI model (human development index) that uses reduced indexes from 31 to 7 economical-social, popular, settlement facilities, sanitary-treatment, occupation, natural-economical substructures, agriculture and the combined index of seven indexes in years 1365,1375 and 1385 time sequences. According to the results obtained from the analysis of the model, there is a fundamental difference in providing development indexes among the towns and these towns are gradable in three groups of developed, semi developed and deprived, and with the passing of the time the rate of development has been increased.

Abstract: 

Proper economic policy making and planning in every country require knowing its possibilities and capabilities of production. This study investigates the condition of the food industry of East Azerbaijan Province and evaluates the comparative advantage in the major subbranches of this industry. To do this, with the use of the tenfold branches of comparative advantage within the industry, the production ability of every subbranches is investigated in order; then, with the help of LQ index and its results, release ability is ranked indirectly. Ultimately, with the help of primary factorizing technique followed by the use of numeral taxonomy, the final ranking of the subbranches and their condition in terms of comparative advantage in the mentioned industry is prepared. Finally, with regard to the results of LQ index and with the help of spider diagram, the rate of the structural transformations of the province’s food industry within the years 80-85 is also shown.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research is to study the effect of information and communication technology (electronics city) on the skeletal structure of the city from the viewpoint of Tabriz Municipality District 1 staff. The research method is of survey type, and collecting data was carried out through a questionnaire. The validity of measurement tools was categorized by factorial analysis technique in II factors, and the reliability of the studied components was measured by Cronbach's Alpha. Analyzing the findings showed that information and communication technology has a significant influence on transportation, facilities of city planning principles, developing planning activities, locating offices, spatial planning, spatial development, selecting locations, wireless and mobile communications, spatial effect of distance work, and planning and selecting domicile.Also, the rate of information and communication technology effect has been declared by female staff more than male staff. There is a meaningful converse correlation between age, jab experience records of the staff and the rate of information and communication technology effect on the skeletal structure of the city.Finally, information technology is of great importance in increasing the speed and accuracy of different activities of organizations and in raising their productivity. Especially, the organizations in which the different departments are located in diverse geographical regions far from each other or the institutes that have to perform diverse and numerous tasks solve most of their problems through information technology.

Abstract: 

The goal of this research is to investigate the relation between organizational culture and the performance of the personnel in Islamic Azad University, North Branch of Tehran. The statistical population consists of all the personnel working in Islamic Azad University, North branch of Tehran, and form among them 200 were selected as the research sample. The organizational culture questionnaires (Quinn, 1985, 326-327) and Achieve Model (Hersey & Blanchard) of personnel performance questionnaires form the research instruments. According to the result of Pearson's correlation coefficient test, the findings of the research indicate that there is a positive and meaningful relation between the organizational culture and the personnel’s performance. Also, there is a positive and meaningful relation between contributional, hierarchical, and logical cultures and the personnel’s performance.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of this study is to review the behavior of information seeking among the full-time professors of Islamic Azad Universities of Region 2, with an emphasis on the specific aspects. The statistical population consisted of 3037 people, from among whom 150 people were randomly selected, and by using a questionnaire, the necessary data were collected and analyzed based on inferential statistics. The results of the survey analysis showed the following points:Most of the time, the full-time academic staff members of Region 2 Islamic Azad Universities refer to the relevant library in person.A few of them use internet to obtain information.Books have a special place among the resources used by them.
