Abstract: 

In This study the effectiveness of narrative therapy on social adjustment improvement in children with conduct disorder (CD) was studied. In this quasi-experimental method a sample of 45 male 4 & 5 grader students with (CD) were selected from Tabriz primary schools and then randomly assigned to three groups (two experimental groups) and a control group. The data gathering instruments included an interview based on diagnosis criteria DSM-IV TR and child symptom Inventories (CSI-4) teacher’s form and Winelend social maturity scale. The narrative therapy was administered for experimental groups narrative therapy in mother tongue (Turkish), and narrative therapy in non-mother tongue (Farsi) in 11 session (45 minutes for 4 weeks) and control group received no intervention. The results of one way ANCOVA analysis showed that social adjustment of experimental groups was more than control group. It was concluded that narrative therapy could be used social adjustment improvement in children with conduct disorder.

Abstract: 

The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between personality characteristics and petrochemical corporation personnel’s job satisfaction in Tabriz. The research method was descriptive-correlation. The statistical population included all the staff of petrochemical corporation (400 person), out of which 194 person using Morgan table were chosen as the sample size. The method of sampling was random stratified. To collect the data, two standard questionnaires Bray & Rothe’s job satisfaction and NEO-FFI personality were used. Using SPSS software and inferential statistics such as pearson’s correlation coefficient, stepwise regression, the hypotheses and questions were tested. The results showed that there was a significant positive difference between the conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and job satisfaction. There was a significant negative difference between neuroticism and job satisfaction. There was no significant correlation between openness and job satisfaction

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the participative management and organizational climate with managers’ effectiveness in guidance schools in Bandar Abbas in 2010-2011. The statistical population was all the guidance schools managers which included 160 people, Using Morgan’s table the sample size was 113 people. The research method was descriptive-correlation. To gather the data three questionnaires were used. Researchers-made questionnaire of participative management, standard questionnaire of organizational climate by Halpin and Craft, the standard questionnaire of effectiveness by Fayol, Friedman and Laylaz. Using cochran’s formula the reliability was estimated 0.85, 0.76, and 0.85 respectively. Descriptive and inferential statistic (Pearson’s correlation coefficient and multiple regressions coefficient) were used to analyze the data. The results showed that among all the participative management variables just structure variable can predict the effectiveness,. On the other hand, among all the organizational climate just pretends to work variable can predict effectiveness.

Abstract: 

The main objective of the study was to examine the instructional and educational performance of teachers participating in scholar teachers program with other teachers in three scholastic courses in Ardabil. The research method was causal-comparative. The statistical population was 67 teacher who participated in scholar teachers program, other teachers (11700), and managers (1287) people. The sampling method for scholar teachers was target-oriented, but other groups were sampled by simple random method. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire using likert scale. To determine the validity of the questionnaire, factor analysis and expert views were used. Using cronbach’s alpha the reliability was estimated 0.96. Descriptive and inferential statistics (T-test and F) were used to analyse the data. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the scholar teachers instructional and educational performance with other teachers. There was not significant difference between the instructional and educational performance of the teachers participating in the program concerning the sex, record of service, academic degree, and teaching experiences.

Abstract: 

The aim of the present study was to examine the relationship between attachment skills and parental rearing methods with depression symptoms. The statistical populations were all the female high-school students in Tabriz, using cochrans’ formula, 375 students were selected as the sample size. The method of collecting data was multistage random sampling. To gather the data the Bamrind parental rearing methods, the adult attachment skills questionnaires and the kutcher adolescent depression scale were used. To analyse the data pearson’s correlation and concurrent regression were used. The results showed that the adolescents with avoidance unsecure attachment skill showed higher level of depression symptoms.There was not any relationship between secure attachment style and ambivalent unsecure attachment with depression symptoms. The results also showed that there was a negative significant difference between the depression and rational authoritative parental rearing method, and there was a positive significant difference between depression and despotic parental rearing method. Whereas no relationship was observed between depression and permissive parental rearing method. According to the findings it can be concluded that attachment styles and parental rearing methods can have an important role in appearing adolescent depression symptoms.

Abstract: 

The main objective of the study was content analysis of social study curriculum in guidance school based on the globalization phenomenon components. The components included citizenship, multicultural, peace, environmental and health education. So the guidance social study text-books were examined to determine how well the globalization phenomenon components are dealt with and implemented. Shannon entropy and qualitative analysis were used. The unit of analysis included the text, questions, exercises and pictures existing in 232 pages of guidance social text books. The statistical populations were three guidance social study text books. The results showed that all four components namely, citizenship (0.227), multicultural (0.205), peace (0.205), and health (0.226), were considered almost in equal proportion, but environmental component was dealt with less in proportion (0.135).

Abstract: 

The main objective of this study is to determine the necessity of presenting informational literacy skills in higher education curriculum. The statistical population selected from all the master and doctoral students in 2010-2011 in Tabriz University. Using ratio random sampling method 380 students were chosen as the sample size. To gather the data a standard questionnaire “informational literacy standard abilities for higher education” was used. Descriptive and inferential statistic including T-test and ANOVA were used to analyse the data.The results showed that there was significant difference on mean scores between master and doctoral students about informational literacy skills. There was no significant difference on mean scores between technical and humanity students and also between the male and female students on the some subject. It is concluded that possibilities, educational content, quality and quantity of effective factors are elements which make differences. It is suggested that “the information literacy standard abilities for higher education curriculum be implemented”.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study, done in 2011, was to examine the relationship between procrastination and self-esteem with achievement motivation of female high-school students. The method of the research was descriptive-correlation. The statistical population was all the high-school female students (6000), out of which 255 were selected as sample size through multi-stage random sampling. The data were collected through the three standard questionnaires namely, Coppersmith self-esteem, Tuckman procrastination and Herman achievement motivation. To analyise the data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used: The pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression, Spss software. The results showed that there was no significant difference between procrastination and self-esteem with achievement motivation. There was a significant difference between self-esteem and achievement motivation. Regression analyise showed that self-esteem had more predictable power for achievement motivation.
