Background and Aim: Communication is the basis of all areas of life, including educational activities; Thus, there is a complex interrelationship between communication and education. Therefore, having command skills of armed forces commanders can play a significant role in improving training. The purpose of this study is to design a model of communication skills of line commanders for effective interaction with trained soldiers. Methodology: This research is applied in terms of purpose and qualitative in terms of implementation method. The statistical population of the study consisted of line commanders and managers of NAJA public training centers and soldiers of these centers and purposefully, a sample of 17 people were interviewed with semi-structured interviews. The data are designed using thematic analysis technique, review and research model. The reliability of the research is confirmed by the method of intra-subject agreement (83. 25% agreement) and the validity of the research can be defended at all stages. Results: The study showed that the model of communication skills of line commanders, 12 capabilities of "respect and dignity of people, appearance, personality, experience, expertise, emotional intelligence, time, justice, support, appreciation, understanding individual differences and considering the circumstances of each Includes "position". Conclusion: Commanders' abilities, in four dimensions of "attitude, traits, behaviors and requirements", form the model of communication skills of commanders in the ranks of NAJA public training centers. These dimensions can be the basis of human resource planning for the selection and training of line commanders.
