Abstract: 

The main objective of this research was to compare the university students' educational success who had consecution in their field of study at M.S. level with those who hadn't. This research was done by descriptive survey method. The population included all university students at M.S. level in different fields and also their instructors in Tehran public universities. A sample of 170 instructors and 270 students were selected by stratified random sampling method. Two closed response questionnaires were used; one of them was used for instructors and the second one for M.S. students. The results showed: 1- The human science instructors evaluated the satisfaction of M.S. Students without consecution more than other students. Those instructors who disagreed with changing student’s field of study at M.S. level evaluated lower chance of student’s occupation and satisfaction. 2- Instructors who disagreed with changing students' field of study at M.S. level declared more negative view towards changing field of study. Human science instructors predicted more success for students who changed their field of study. 3- Instructors who were agree with changing student's fields declared more comprehensiveness for students without consecution. 4-Instructors didn't emphasize on the materiality motivations in terms of decision to change field of study at M.S. level. 5- From student's point of view, The rate of satisfaction from field of study in B.S. didn't influenced on changing it at M.S. level, but the rate of interest towards their field of study at M.S. was significant factor which influenced changing field of study.6- Since students who had consecution in their field of study had more failed scores, students without consecution were more successful.7-From student's point of view, selecting the field of study at M.S. level in students with consecution was related to social welfare motives in present and future, while selecting field of study in students without consecution was related to factors such as, future job selection, welfare, income and economic values.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of this survey is that how much the tertiary education has developed the spirit of entrepreneurship in the students of Mazandaran University. For this purpose, 335 M.A students were randomly and with respect to gender and faculty selected as participants. The required data were gathered through questionnaire and then analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics. The results indicate that educational programs of university have contributed nothing to the development of entrepreneurship spirit in students. In the case of comparing the functions of educational programs in different faculties, the results of variance analysis show that no faculty has acted better or worse than the other faculties in the development of entrepreneurship spirit; and there has been no significant difference in the degree of entrepreneurship spirit of students in the 14 case faculties; also in the case of comparing the mean of entrepreneurship spirit in male and female students, the T-test result shows no significant relationship between gender and spirit of entrepreneurship.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present research was to study relationship between the faculty members satisfaction of the research system with the university with their research motive in Sabzevar Universities a sample of 122 faculty members in Sabzevar universities were selected from 194 faculty members A researcher made questionnaire was used. Results showed significant relation between the faculty member’s satisfaction with the research system of the university and their attitude to research activities. Regression analysis, the most predictive role in the qualitative motive of the faculty members was played, respectively, by the possibility of using the internet. Moreover, It was shown in the regression analysis: the most predictive role in the quantitative motive of the faculty members was played, respectively, by the conditions of available dissertations and scientific resources.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of this study was to identify the relation between leadership style of principals and organizational health of public boys’ high schools in Robat karim. date were collected using the Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ) to identify leadership style of principals, As for organizational health of schools, Organizational Health Inventory for Secondary schools (OHIS) (Hoy et al. year?).was used including (Institutional Integrity, Initiating Structure, Consideration, Resource Support, Principal Influence with Superiors, Morale and Academic Emphasis) and three levels (Institutional, Managerial and Technical A stratified random sample of 216 teachers took part in the study Resulted indicate that There is a significant relation between the leadership style of principals and organizational health of secondary schools, (p<0.01).Also a significant relation between the leadership style of principal and school health at three levels of institutional, managerial and technical, (p< 0.01) was found. Also the results showed no significant relation between the leadership style of principal and school’s average score in dimensions of resource support and Principal Influence with Superiors, (p<0.05).

Abstract: 

This study has applied descriptive survey research method to explore and prioritize training needs of the instructors of the IRIB College in the academic year 2006-2007.They were teaching in four departments of communications, media arts, media engineering as well as general courses and Islamic knowledge. Applying the Delphi and job analysis techniques, a number of needs related to professional development were identified. Then, the needs were revised and prioritized, based on which 47 needs in three areas of curriculum planning, teaching, educational evaluation were recognized. Multiple-choice questionnaires designed by the researchers were used to measure the needs based on Likert scale. Instructors answered to two questions on their needs; the first dealing with the necessity of learning that specific need in teaching and the second a self-assessment of their current situation in terms of their qualifications. Inspired by Klein’s need assessment model, this study has examined the needs.The statistical population of this study includes all instructors of IRIB College in the academic year 2006-2007, which amounts to 75. As the instructors were available and cooperative, 70 questionnaires were filled in. After collecting the data, appropriate parametric and non-parametric statistical methods were used to analyze it. According to the need assessment carried out, the following needs are found to be the most frequently stated ones by the instructors of IRIB college: Getting to know the various domains in the educational goals classification (cognitive, affective and psycho-motor), the application of field trip and demonstration methods in teaching- learning, workshop techniques, distance learning, mastering the internet, getting to know the psychological features of students, class management, assessment of the academic achievement and evaluation techniques.

Abstract: 

One of the most important steps in planning and preparation of curriculum plans is selection and organization of the content. The important part of the content is different subjects’ matters which shall be collected in numerous subjects and in books and present to the students. Since in Iranian Education system, text book prepared in credit basis for entire country thus shall be considered as an important fact. In the present research, we focus on the contents of Chemistry text book 1 from the viewpoints of Tehran Chemistry Teachers. The main object is to attain the application rate of course planning principles in selection and organization of the books contents.Statistical society includes chemistry teachers in grade nine of high school in Tehran province who were teaching chemistry in the school year 2003-2004. Sample capacity is 171 statistical credits (teachers) and sampling method is classified clustering.The research regarding its applied goal and from view point of descriptive method is performed on field research basis. For collection of data, a questionnaire including 36 questions were used for distribution between statistical units. Also library studies were used in this research. The present research studied the book contents with present five researching questions. For analysis of data, descriptive statistical techniques were used and descriptive statistics also dedicated to chi- square test. The results are as follows: The content of Chemistry Book 1 is suitably prepared with expected goals, mental abilities and learners interest of the grade nine students. The book content in high rate has been present while consider the needs of the society and have considerable application in daily life and experience. The rate of application teaching - learning suitable strategies and general principles of organization in the content of book is in mean rate.
