Abstract:

The purpose of this research was to analysis about Performance management and curriculums of are teachers and students. Our sampling was 34 teachers and 137 student of physical education and sports science faculty of University of Tehran. In order to collect the data, we used questionnaire based on Likert scale. Mean, Percentage of frequencies, SD, K-S for normality and independent T-test use for analyzing the data and with spss11.5 software. The results indicated that there was no significant differences between the attitudes of two student groups (P=0.528) but the ttitudes of two student groups with teachers were significant (P=0.000) and (P=0.000). Due to concerns about the weakness of the student’s skills necessary to participate in the labor market, the need to increase the number of specialist teachers, books and educational facilities are felt appropriate.

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between effort- reward imbalance and burnout among physical education teachers. Statistical samples were 189(89%) of teachers who had at least three year work experience in Kermanshah schools. Research design was cross- sectional using AMOS path way analysis. Participant completed demographic questionnaire, Maslach burnout inventory (MBI: Maslach, Jackson, & Leiter, 1996) and Siegris effort- reward imbalance questionnaire (ERIQ: Siegrist et al. 2004). Results showed there is significant relationship between effort- reward imbalances with over commitment. In addition, effort- reward imbalance had direct effect on emotional exhaustion and depersonalization. Moreover over-commitment had direct effect on emotional exhaustion. Therefore effort- reward imbalance could impact on teachers’ emotional exhaustion and depersonalization as core of burnout symptoms.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to compare the physiological Indices of Iranian elite female kayakers on treadmill and arm ergometer. Twelve Iranian elite female kayakers (age: 16.5 ± 2 yrs, height: 166.7 ± 4.4 cm, weight: 57.89 ± 7.3 kg, body fat: 20.33 ± 6%) participated in this study. VO2max, heart rate and VO2 at lactate threshold, VO2 pulse (VO2/HR) and ventilation (VE) values measured by two increamental tests along with gas analization. Antropometric and body composition characters including height, sitting height, two hands distance, arm, thigh and leg lengths; arm, thigh, sholder and pelvis breadths; arm, thigh, chest, hip and leg girths; body fat percentage, musle mass and kayak performance evaluated by 12 kilometer kayaking test (K12 time) were also measured. Data were analyzed by t-student and Pearson correlation coefficient (a=0.05). There was significant correlation between all the physiological indices of kayakers in two test (p<0.05). Although VO2max measured by the arm ergometer was lower than VO2max measured by treadmill. In comparison with similar elite kayakers in other countries, Iranian elite female kayakers had lower height, weight and specially muscle mass. This findings can be a guidance for national coaches in selection of athletes who have suitable physiological, anthropometric and body composition characteristics and as there were differences between Iranian elite female kayakers and their match in other countries, it is recommended to insert more resistance training within training programs of kayakers to increase strength and muscle mass of their upper body.

Abstract:

In present era, efficiency and efficacy are the most important goal of organizations. Therefore, the purpose of present research is investigating the relationship between time management and creativity of physical education employees of Golestan province. Research methodology: this research is a field study and statistical population of it is composed of all employees of Golestan Province physical education offices (n=180) of which 147 employees participated in this study. In order to evaluate creativity value of employees we used Amabile creativity questionnaire (1996). Time management skill was also evaluated through researcher made questionnaire which assesses time management based on 6 micro-scales: daily planning, confidence to long range planning, goal setting, control of time, tenacity and disorganization of plans. After using Calmograph Smirnoff and making sure of natural distribution of data (P>0.05), in order to analyze the data we used t-test, multiple regresion test to determine predicting variable of creativity and Peirson correlation coefficient in the level P<0.05. Findings: the results of test indicated that there is a significant difference in long term planning (t=2.35 & Sig = 0.004), time limitation management (t=2.62 & Sig = 0.031), tenacity in plan execution (t= 3.71 & Sig = 0.006), disorganization in plans (t=2.61 & Sig = 0.042) among two groups (P<0.05), but in daily planning micro-scale (t=1.47 & Sig=0.08) and goal setting (t=3.49 & Sig = 0.0671) no significant difference was observed. Also, the results of regression test indicated that the ability to manage time limitation (P < 0.01 & b= 0.27) and long term planning of employees (P<0.01 & b= 0.23), the highest impact induced by employees’ creativity value.

Abstract:

The purpose of the study was to investigate the impacts of endurance, resistance and concurrent training on adiponectin resting levels of non-athlete men. Forty four obese non-athlete students (BMI>25) voluntary participated in this study and were randomly based on BMI assigned to one of four groups: endurance training (ET, 22 ± 0.89 years, height 174.64 ± 4.72 cm, weight 90.55 ± 10.80 kg, N=12); resistance training (RT, 21 ± 1.57 years, height 171.11 ± 5.51 cm, weight 92.22 ± 15.85 kg, N=9); concurrent training (CT, 21.38 ± 2.06 years, height 173.65 ± 7.07 cm, weight 86.61 ± 15.05 kg, N=13); and control group (CG, 21.44 ± 1./13 years, height 175.61 ± 5.09 cm, weight 90.00 ± 14.05 kg, N=9). After primary measurement and 48 hours after the last training session blood samples were drawn with the subjects in the fasting and resting state for determination of the basic level of adiponectin. The subjects participated in E, R and C training for 8 weeks. The ET group ran 25 – 40 minutes a day ansd 3 days per week at 65 - 85% maximum heart rate. The exercise training session forthe RT group consisted of three sets of 10 - 15 repetitions of weight training exercises of primary muscles group that increased progressively and repeated three sessions per week (including: chest press, squat, opening leg, knee flexion and extension, chest dumbbell press, leg press, seated rowing, and standing rowing). The CT group exactly trained the sum of the ET and RT groups. Correlated samples t-test and one way analysis of variation were used to compare within and between groups differences respectively. The result of the present study showed that after 8 weeks training the diponectin levels of subjects increased in three groups of training but this increase was not significant. The level of adiponectin in CT group increased more than ET and RT groups. Also, there were no significant differences in content of adiponectin among groups. In general, slightly increases in adiponectin levels in training groups, especially CT group may indicate the most potential of CT group in increasing the levels of adiponectin in non-trained men. However there are need more related researches to indentify the effect of concurrent training.
