Introduction: Nurses' organizational commitment improves interaction with patients and companions, increases patient safety and the quality of nursing care. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to review the studies conducted on organizational commitment in Iranian nurses. Methods: This systematic study has examined the articles published between 2011 and 2021 from the major international and national databases of Google Scholar, IranDoc, Science Direct, SID, Magiran, web of science, PubMed, Scopus and Cinahal, in both Persian and English language. key words,Organizational commitment and nurse in Persian databases and Organizational Commitment nurse in English sources and its Mesh equivalents were used using Boolean operators “, AND”,and “, OR”, . Conducting research in Iran was the main inclusion criterion for selecting articles. After evaluating the quality of the articles 701 initial studies, 26 articles were recognized as eligible and included in the study. Results: The results of extracting the findings of the articles showed that 12% of the nurses' organizational commitment studies report a high level and 50% a medium level. Factors affecting nurses' organizational commitment including,1) individual factors (age, marital status, education level, work experience, position, type of ward, shift and employment) and 2) various organizational factors (professional ethics, moral intelligence, stress management with skills training communication, participatory management style, organizational citizenship behavior, job empowerment, trust in hospital education, quality of life, distributive and interactive justice, organizational identity, psychological empowerment, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, organizational justice, organizational support, organizational trust, delegation) Especially job satisfaction. Conclusions: Nurses' organizational commitment is not at a good level and needs to be improved. In order to prevent leaving the job and improve the quality of nursing care, health care system managers in planning and decision making, it is necessary to consider individual and organizational factors affecting organizational commitment, especially job satisfaction, and work to increase nurses' organizational belongings.
