Abstract: 

The purpose of the study was to exam the effectiveness of the family training to promote family adaptation and cohesion. To check the aim, a randomized pre-test- post-test with control group design was used. The sample was 50 couples who were assigned randomly in experimental and control group. Participants in experimental group treated 24 sessions (each session was 90 minutes). The FACES-III was used to assess family adaptability and family cohesion. The result of repeated measures showed that there are significant differences between these two groups after treating experimental group. The results revealed that couples in experimental group touch a balanced system after treating. In sum, this research showed the efficient of the family training for Iranian family.

Abstract: 

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the FRIENDS treatment program on the anxiety of children in Shiraz. Research methodology was a randomized pre-test and post-test type with a control group. Statistical population includes all boys and girls 9 to 11 years old of Shiraz elementary schools in the academic year 2014-2015 with a multi-stage random sampling and by using the anxiety questionnaire of children, 20 students were selected and by simple random sampling method were assigned to two groups of test group (10 persons) and control group (10 persons). Test group was exposed to the training program of FRIENDS for 3 months and the control group didn’t receive any intervention. After 3 months and the end of program, the post-test was done and one month after the intervention, the follow-up was performed. Data analysis was performed by using T-test and multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA). Research results in line with other studies supported the decisive effectiveness of training program of FRIENDS on reducing the anxiety of children in post-test and follow-up stages. It was also determined that the most effectiveness in post-test stage on reducing the social anxiety in children, and in follow-up stage on reducing the social anxiety and stress was comprehensive. FRIENDS program can be taken into consideration as a preventive intervention to reduce the anxiety of children in Iranian society.

Abstract: 

The Vancouver Obsessional Compulsive Inventory–Mental Contamination Scale (VOCI-MC) is a self-report instrument that assesses symptoms of mental contamination. The aim of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties of the Persian version of the VOCI-MC in non-clinical sample. Factor structure, convergent validity, internal consistency and temporal stability were investigated in 391 participants of general population of Shahed University, students. Results showed that Persian version of VOCI-MC had a good internal consistency and test- retest reliability. Also, convergence of this scale with OCD scores of Padoa Inventory was good. The Exploratory factor analysis showed four factors. The Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed four factors structure better fit than one factor structure. These findings suggest that the Persian version of the VOCI-MC had the adequate psychometric properties in general population. Therefore, it can be confidently used as an assessment tool of mental contamination symptoms and research settings too.

Abstract: 

This study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of local model of E-learning on self-direction of students’ learning using researcher-made software. The study design was quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test and follow-up period (two months after the implementation of the post-test) that 32 male and female students in the field of librarianship were non-randomly selected, and they were randomly and equally were assigned into experimental and control groups. Education was implemented using researcher-made tool in four sessions (90 minutes in each session) on experimental group. Data collection tool was self-directed scale in Fischer et al learning. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (analysis of covariance and repeated measurements) using SPSS 20 software. Analysis of data using analysis of covariance showed that local model of e-learning-has impact on self-direction in students’ learning and its components (self-management, willingness to learn, self-control (p<0.05). The results variance analysis with repeated measurements also showed that the effect of local model of E-learning software on self-direction of students’ learning was stable (p<0.05). The researcher-made tool based on local model of E-learning is effective in increasing the total score of self-direction in students’ learning and its components.

Abstract: 

The aim of this research was to design and test a model of the effect of HEXACO Personality Variable on Happiness with mediating Attribution Style. In this research HEXACO Personality Variables was considered as predictor of Happiness. In addition Attribution Style was considered as mediator of relationship between predictor and dependent variable. The instruments which used in this study include HEXACO Personality Inventory, Oxford Happiness Questionnaire, and Attribution Style Questionnaire (ASQ). Data collected from 445 employees of an industrial Company. That selected via simple random sampling method. Structural equation modeling through AMOS 18 and SPSS 18 software package were used for data analysis. The indirect effects were tested by Bootstrap procedure. Results indicate that Exogenous Variables Honesty-Humility, Extraversion, Conscientiousness and Openness to Experience have a significant direct effect and Emotionality and Agreeableness have a not significant direct effect. Also indicate that Relation between predictor variable (Honesty-Humility, Extraversion, Conscientiousness, Openness to experience) whit Happiness through the Attribution style was mediator.

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to determine the mediating role of cognitive alignment of excitement for personal features and marital satisfaction among couples who are working in Marvdasht. To check this aim a correlation research method was used. The sample of study includes all couples of Marvdasht who are working in 1394. By using multistage random cluster sampling 200 people have been chosen as the sample. To collect data following questionnaires have been used, 5 factor characteristic questionnaire, cognitive alignment of excitement, marital satisfaction. To analyze the data, Pearson correlation coefficient and linear structural equation model with AMOS software was used. Findings of the study showed that cognitive alignment of excitement has a mediating role for characteristic features (extroversion and Neurosis) and marital satisfaction.

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to test the relationship between dimensions of perfectionism with achievement goals with Mediating Role of motivation. The sample of the study included all professional athletes Bushehr is formed. From this sample, a sample of 175 persons were selected using multi-stage cluster. To measure variables positive and negative perfectionism questionnaire, Miguel achievement goals questionnaire, and achievement motivation questionnaire were used. The proposed model was evaluated using structural equation modeling. BvtAstrap test was used to test the indirect relationships. The results showed that the proposed model fit the relationship between these variables was acceptable. In general, the results showed that the positive and negative perfectionism, both directly and indirectly through achievement motivation and achievement goals in their relationship. Also, all FrzyhHay study was approved.
