Abstract: 

Introduction: Life expectancy is one of the most important health indicators that is influenced by various economic and social factors; hence, this study examined the effect of business cycles on life expectancy. Methods: This survey is a retrospective descriptive – analytic study that examined the effects of business cycles, unemployment rate, percentage of health expenditures and urbanization on life expectancy in countries noted in the Iran vision plan 2025. After grouping the countries based on the HDI, model estimation was carried out using the panel's econometric approach. For the first and second groups, the fixed effects and for the third group, the random effect was used. Results: Business cycle in the countries with high HDI, including Iran, has a positive effect on life expectancy and it has no significant effect in the two other groups. The percentage of health expenditure in the first and third groups has a positive effect on life expectancy, but in the second group, has a negative effect. The unemployment rate has a positive effect in the first group and a negative effect in the second group on life expectancy, but in the third group, has no significant effect. The percentage of urbanization also has a positive effect on life expectancy in all groups. Conclusion: The effect of business cycles and socioeconomic indicators on life expectancy varies according to HDI. Considering the positive effect of business cycles on life expectancy in the second group, including Iran, Increase employment rates and economic expansions will increase life expectancy.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Performance management is an inevitable need of any social organization and Efficient Performance management requires effective management control system. Methods: The present study was descriptive-correlational and applied in terms of its purpose. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. In this study, the validity of the questionnaire with formal and reliability approach was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha (0. 889). The statistical population of this study was 280 department administrators and department of treatment managers. According to Cochran's formula, 163 individuals were selected for statistical society. They were selected by stratified random sampling method in two categories of administrative managers (28 people) and managers (135 people). Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: According to research findings in 95% confidence level, management control system with diagnostic management dimensions (p = 0. 00) and interactive management control system (p = 0. 00) with organizational performance management with dimensions of recognition of dimensions and performance criteria, assessment and evaluation Performance, performance improvement has a positive relationship. Conclusion: Considering the conclusion, the positive relationship between management control system and organizational performance management is recommended to managers of hospitals by introducing and strengthening management control system with significant results in terms of performance management for a long-term hospital under their management.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Supply chain performance in hospital for fast and efficient delivery and in order to improve the speed of operations in various departments affiliated to the hospital supply chain is considered important. Therefore, in this research, the effect of dynamic capabilities on collaboration with hospital provider and supply chain supply function of hospital with the role of technology orientation has been investigated. Methods: This research is a descriptive-survey based on the purpose of the applied research and according to the method of data collection. The population of the research is the employees of the supply chain of Ali ebne Abitaleb Ravar Hospital and is a sample of 267 people. Data were collected by a researcher at one stage. Data were then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics in AMOS and SPSS software. Results: The results show that collaboration with the hospital provider has a direct and significant effect on hospital supply chain performance. Also, the four dimensions of dynamic capabilities have a significant impact on collaboration with the hospital provider. The technology orientation has a direct effect on collaboration with the hospital provider, but its moderating effect was not meaningful in collaboration with the provider of the four dimensional dynamic capabilities. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, to improve the supply chain performance, the concepts of the four dimensions of dynamic capabilities and collaboration with the provider of the hospital should be considered and the use of technology should be decided with a more coherent and transparent view.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Strategic thinkers contribute to the development and creation of strategy that can allow organizational leaders the opportunity to create ideas that give an organization a sustainable competitive advantage. Those strategic thinkers who execute strategy may have a greater likelihood of successful implementation of the strategy and organizational performance. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between strategic thinking and organizational performance of middle and senior managers of Iran Health Insurance Organization. Methods: This study is a descriptive-correlational study that has taken place among 160 senior and mid-level managers of Health Insurance Organization of Iran. Data gathering instrument was a valid and reliable questionnaire that was consists of three parts: demographic information, strategic thinking and organizational performance questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed by using SPSS software and Pearson and Kendall correlations test. Results: According to the results of the study, strategic thinking and organizational performance have a good score. There was also a significant relationship between strategic thinking and organizational performance and the five dimensions of strategic thinking with organizational performance (P<0. 05). Conclusion: according to results further promotion and strengthening of this type of thinking among managers in relation to Holger's perspective is suggested.

Abstract: 

Introduction: The rapid growth of social media has created many opportunities for health professionals to undertake a large part of their marketing activities in this area. The main objective of the current study is to fully understand the main factors of the content strategy in Instagram social media health clinics to increase the engagement of brand community members. Methods: The present study was done in two stages. In the first stage, through the investigation of previous studies and deep interview with 8 native experts the model has been designed. Second stage, relations between the variables of the model were investigated. In the method, a multiple case study, 1572 posts of Instagram, 8 health clinics, were coded and analyzed using a netnography method during a year. Results: At 95% confidence level there was a significant relationship between the content type (p<0. 001( and hashtag (p<0. 000( with the customer engagement variables and between the content agility (p<0. 001( with the customer engagement (except of save post and discovery percentage), and between the content day (p<0. 001( with the customer engagement variables (except of discovery percentage and impression), and relationship between content context (p<0. 001( with customer engagement (except of profile visit and discovery percentage) and tone of voice (p<0. 002( with customer engagement (with the exception of likes, discovery percentage and new folowers). Conclusion: The resulting factors help the health clinics to optimize the content of their brand community, which can increase the number of members of a brand community and engage them with content.

Abstract: 

Introduction: In this era, universities and higher education institutions need to increase their adaptability to face new realities. The purpose of this article was to Survey on the organizational adaptive capacity rate of Fars medical Universities. Methods: In this study the method was descriptive-survey. The statistical population of this research was all the faculty members of the Fars medical Universities. The samples consist of 152 faculty members who were selected through stratified sampling. In order to gather the data, a researcher made questionnaire in the form of Lykert's 5 rate of fars public Universities in all degree scale with a reliability of 0. 863 is used. Results: The findings of this research indicated that the mean scores of the subjects about the organizational adaptive dimensions (Responsiveness capacity, fl exibility capacity, organizational Learning capacity, partnership capacity, Resources) were moderate. Conclusion: In summary, the root of adaptability less than the average of universities can be found in low responsiveness capacity, low organizational learning capacity, low interaction capacity, lack of resources to face change, and organizational flexibility.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Recent growth in the number of private hospitals on one hand; and on the other hand, the increasing needs of the patient as a client of private hospitals have resulted in rising attention to have innovation in providing services. The importance of human resources' capabilities as promoters of supplying modern services is undeniable. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of HR capabilities on health care innovation within private hospitals of Alborz Province. Methods: This research was in the category of descriptive, Surveying studies and had a practical objective. In this research, after assessing the validity of the questionnaire, in terms of form and reliability comliance with Cronbach's alpha test, it was distributed among 303 of professional medical staff from 4 private hospitals of Alborz Province which were selected by random cluster sampling as our statistical samples. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, inferential statistics of one-way variance analysis and multiple linear regression. Results: According to the results of one-way ANOVA and multivariate regression, the ability of human resources in education dimensions (P = 0. 000), initiative (P = 0. 000), perceived flexibility (P = 0. 000), organizational commitment (0. 001 = P), Knowledge sharing (P = 0. 002) and innovation culture (P = 0. 001) have a significant effect on health care innovation. Conclusion: It is essential that the managers of these hospitals pay more attention to have highly professional human resources and promoting them at the hospital in order to improve healthcare innovation.

Abstract: 

Introduction: whistleblowing is a powerful tool for preventing organizational wrongdoings. Many factors influence on employees' intention to report organizational wrongdoings. Personality and situational variables are the most influential factors. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between situational variables (characteristics of wrongdoing, the status of wrongdoer) and individual variables (attitude towards whistleblowing, internal locus of control, and moral identity) with the employees' intention to blow the whistle. Method: This is a descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study that was conducted on 242 employees of the Central department of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. A questionnaire that is made based on previous studies was used to collect the data. Analysis of the data processed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) with Smart PLS software. Results: The amount of standardized coefficients between independent variables and whistleblowing intention were statistically significant (P <0. 005), meaning that the internal locus of control, the existence of moral identity, attitude toward whistleblowing, characteristics of wrongdoing and wrongdoer's status have positive and significant effects on individual's decision to report the wrongdoings. Conclusion: Given that individuals with internal locus of control, positive attitude about whist blowing and high morality cannot be able to ignore the organizational wrongdoings, and the status of wrongdoer and characteristics of wrongdoing have significant effects on employees' willingness to whistleblowing, it is better for organizations to use employees with these characteristics at more sensitive or critical places, and make some arrangements such as providing reporting channels in order to facilitate this behavior.
