Abstract: 

Objectives: The present reseach aims at developing and accreditation of a framework for evaluating university managers' competencies, regarding to Islamic teachings.Method: This study consisted of sequential exploratory mixed methods. In qualitative stage, using aligning multiple sources approach holding three dimensions: a) collecting literature reviews, underlying principles related to the research variable b) the studies done in the scope of managers’ competencies c) surveying of the key informants’ views, the first framework was developed and evaluated. Then in the quantitative stage, the reliability and validity of the formulated framework was scrutinized and confirmed using confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach’s Alpha.Result: In this research a framework was formulated consisting of tripartite dimensions; Value-manner, knowledge- insight, and skill - method; and their components to evaluate university managers’ competencies based on the Islamic teachings. Value-manner dimension including virtue, commitment, munificence, justice, and orientation to the Islamic Leadership Pattern (Velayat) components; knowledge - insight dimension including; awareness of the religious trainings and ordinances, awareness of the public rules and regulations and tasks limitations and job authorities, to have management specialized and professional knowledge and recognizing relevant organizations’ internal and external status and the skill- method dimension; including technical, human and conceptual skills.Conclusion: As a whole we could conclude that Evaluating University Managers Competencies in three dimensions (Value-manner, knowledge –insight, and skill- method) could result in changes in recruitment and development of human resources and the appointment of managers in higher education system of Islamic Republic of Iran.

Abstract: 

Objectives: Existing competent administrators in the public sector is one of the most crucial requirements for effective implementation of Iran's 20-year vision plan and accomplishing its aims. The study has developed competencies required by public administrators for accomplishing aims defined in the plan.Method: In terms of the research purpode and data, this research is an applied study using mixed method (qualitative and quantitative). In qualitative step the proposed model has been developed by studing the content of the vision plan during three ordinary steps: description, analysis and interpretation of data. In quantitative step the developed model has been tested by path analysis through Lisrel software.Results: These specified competencies have been classified in three main categories: personal (attitude-oriented and behavioral), job-related (knowledge oriented and skill-oriented) and value-based (islamic and organizational) .Among which, value-based, job related and personal competencies have ordinary the most influential effect in these model (0.92, 0.85 and 0.78).Conclusion: Developing public administrators competencies has a considerable effect on accomplishing the aims of 20-years vision plan. Evaluating and developing these competencies should be a general priority in selection, placement and performance assessment of the administrators.

Abstract: 

The origin of the university is fulfilling the development needs of the community. In this way the necessary condition to be successful is to be self-confident and looking for local & domestic solutions to the real problems of the country. Moqawemah Economy (Resilience Economy) is domesctic model of development of I.R.Iran. As a result, the university can only be beneficial for the country to be governed in accordance with the pattern of Moqawemah Economy.Objective: The aim of This study is an attempt to find initiatives that could handle the strength of the economy according to the pattern.Methods: According to the new issue of qualitative research method was used and expert surveys and executive interviews with 20 experts of scientific, followed by statements derived from interviews.Results: The results of the study indicate 10 themes of understanding of the importance of recovery in strategic management, understanding of the importance of referring to the pattern of Moqawemah Economy, planning and rational management system, the development of education, people-oriented, need-oriented, self-reliance, entrepreneurship and science diplomacy.Conclusion: The author of the survey concludes in three components: conceptual, attitudinal and structural and functional beside 12 proposals which are presented to policy makers in science and technology.

Abstract: 

Objectives: The objective of the present research is to study the effect of spirituality in workplace and organizational commitment on job satisfaction of the staff of the supreme leader’s representative office at universities.Method: The method of the study is practical and descriptive – correlation. The statistical community included 148 persons which are selected randomly. Three kinds of standard questionnaires are used for collecting data; First, the questionnaire of Miliman for spirituality in workplace, second the questionnaire of Allen and Myers for organizational commitment and the third one is the modified questionnaire of Smith, Kendall, & Hulin for job satisfaction.Results: The main hypothesis of the research was studied with the simple linear regression test and the linear dependence between spirituality in workplace and job satisfaction has been proved. The correlation coefficient amount illustrate the effective rate of independent variables on prediction of dependent variable.Conclusion: There is a significant relation between spirituality in workplace components and organizational commitment with job satisfaction of staff. Consequently increasing in spirituality in workplace components and organizational commitment will enhance job satisfaction of staff.

Abstract: 

Objectives: Universities are considered as the main part of institution of human society and society expects them to have high moral intelligence. Therefore the present paper is done with the purpose of recognizing and prioritizing moral intelligence measures and the effect of two factors of managers' demographic (education, work experience) on moral intelligence of training managers of universities.Method: This paper in terms of method is descriptive surveying and in terms of nature is applied. Statistical community of this research included all of the training groups of managers of Yazd University. Also for gathering the required information the questionnaire has been designed based on theoretical and methodological principle of Vikor. The analyzing of collected data is done by using Vikor method.Results and Conclusion: The finding of the research had shown that the “secrecy “measure in the inherent quality index, “good temper” in the moral adventitious index, “forgiveness” in the person to person treatment index, “valuing good tradition” in the performance in society index, “respecting for subordinates” in the management oriented index, “kindness to subordinates” in the moral adventitious in the person to person treatment index, have dedicated the first ranks to themselves. And also the work experience of managers has been effected on “God fear”, ”rightism” and “conspirator punishment”.

Abstract: 

Objectives: Science and technology are considerd as the main components of soft power among countries. The present article aims at analysing the effect of technology and science diplomacy on developing the islamic republic of iran, s soft power.Method: The method of the study is qualitative analysis and in the framework of soft power thesis.Results: The results of the reseach indicate that technology and science diplomacy as a part of general diplomacy brings political influence, credit and validity for the country.Conclusion: The author of the paper concludes technology and science diplomacy as the preneeds to develop and strenghten the soft power of islamic republic of iran.

Abstract: 

Objectives: The objective of the religious community is one of the main indicators of social situation, making a standard scale to measure religiosity is an undeniable necessity. In particular, most of the indicators that have been proposed to measure religiosity, mainly based on Western models and Christian oriented approaches have been made. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to build a conceptual model and build a native measurement instrument to measure religiosity.Method: This study was performed by using interview techniques in the form of a questionnaire, as a field of research. And the results were analyzed by SPSS software.Results: This study was designed to provide a new conceptual model consisting of 4 double and triple aspects of religion (beliefs, faith, morality and the law) to measure religiosity. Statistical analysis showed that the KMO value was calculated more than 7.0 (.780) and Bartlett's test result has been a significant level of error smaller than 0.01. Also, the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient for the measure of religiosity, was more than 0.7 (Cronbach’s Alpha=0.898). Therefore, measures and instruments have been made by researchers to measure the religiosity, have high validity and reliability.Conclusion: The author of the present paper concludes that Usually one of the concerns of researchers in the field of research is access to a tool that is used in the previous studies and the validity and reliability is confirmed. And this is especially true in research that to measure the "religion" is more important than just to enjoy doing the reseach. Because the validity of the instrument was confirmed in this study based on the findings of this study to the similar research, the scale and measure of religiosity.
