Abstract: 

Background and Aims: AIDS is a socio-medical problem and has vast consequences. It is needed to prevent the sexual affection that it be detected role of social determinants of health and social networks. This study was conducted to assess the association between size of social network and probability of occurrence of HIV/AIDS among sexually affected patients in behavioral diseases consulting centers covered to Shahid Beheshti University of medical sciences in 1394.Methods: This research was a case-control study including 94 patients consulting the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences centers of AIDS as case group and 94 persons as control group in Tehran, Iran. Samples were selected by the classified method; the later sampling was done by the convenience sampling method. The tools for data collection were demographic questionnaires, as well as a questionnaire to obtain data on size of social network. Data were analyzed by Spss.22 software and logistic regression analysis and discrimination analysis.Results: Size of social network in sexual affected patients is lower of nonaffected persons. There is a significant association, thus positive between sizes of social network in sexual affected patients and non-affected (p<0.01). Size of family social network has the largest contribution in explanation of difference between the affected and non-affected. Findings showed that the more size of their social network, the more probability of occurrence of HIV/AIDS.Conclusion: It is necessary to adjust sexual risk behaviors and detect the role of social network and sexual physio-psycho-social paths by which it transmitted.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Health promotion is a growing concern field. The present study aimed to assess the effect of educational intervention via mobile on health promoting behaviors of women who referred to health centers in Bandar Abbas Methods: This interventional study included women who referred to health centers in Bandar Abbas. The samples were randomly selected and divided in two groups including intervention (54) and control (54) groups. Data were collected by Health promoting lifestyle profile II before and 3 months after the intervention. The educational intervention via Whats App lasted 3 months.Data were analyzed by Spss-19.Results: After the education significant increases were observed in all of domains of health promoting behaviors in intervention group (p<0.05), but no significant increase was observed in control group.Conclusion: It is recommended that education via mobile be considered as an effective method for health education, especially when the target population is not accessible.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Lack of exercise is inconsistent with healthy lifestyle. In recent years, it has increased in different age groups, particularly in children and adolescents. To implement any health program, we should have a deep understanding of the health program. This study aimed to recognize characteristics of a school-based program for promoting physical activity in adolescents from the perspective of experts and health authorities, as well as student and parent’s overviews.Also, implementation and integration of this program was investigated by faculty members and connoisseurs' perspectives Methods: The qualitative study was performed through in-depth interviews and Focus group discussion (FGD) on faculty members, experts of different ministries and students and parents. Overall, 24 experts, and 6 faculty members and connoisseurs participated in the study. Also, four FGD were held with students and parents. The findings were examined using content analysis Results: The results were divided in two parts: A) Existing problems and characteristics of a school-based intervention program for promoting physical activity from the perspective of students, parents and experts of different ministry B) implementation and integration of the program by faculty members and connoisseurs' perspectives. Totally, we identified 3 categories and 28 themes for the section A, and 2 categories and 22 themes for the section B. The following three domains were extracted for the section A including management problems, shortage of resources, and approaches of increasing physical activity. Two domains for the section B were barriers to intersectorial coordination and characteristics of a school-based program.The results of the interviews with faculty members and health authorities led to identify a twentieth-stage framework for implementing the program.Conclusion: The results indicated a severe lack of human and financial resources, and a coherent and systematic program to promote physical activity in schools. The identified framework can be used for implementing other health interventions.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: As an essential element of health promotion programs, nutritional education improves the nutrition behaviors of students. The present study examined the effect of using the transtheoretical model in students breakfast consumption.Methods: This semi-experimental study was performed on290 first level students of secondary school in Jiroft city. At the begining they have taken in two experimental and control groups by multi-stages and using a structured questionnaire including items on demographic information, stages of change, self-efficacy, decisional balance, breakfast intake. Data were collected before and after three months.Results: The mean age of students wase 13.74±387 and girls and boys ratio was equivalent. Interventional results show meaningful average increasing of balancing decision from 31to 46 and selfe-efficiency from 27to 34.Conclusion: The findings proved that TTM was a useful model that can be applied to dietary behavior change such as breakfast consumption in students.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Undoubtedly, AIDS is the most important infectious disease emerged in the late twentieth century. In recent years, the third wave of HIV transmission through sexual activity is rising. The main aim of this study was to investigate the effect of group-discussion-based education on HIV prevention among vulnerable women, in Karaj in 2015.Methods: The study was conducted as a semi-experimental trial with pre-, postintervention on 46 vulnerable women referring to behavioral health counseling Center and special center for counseling vulnerable women. Sampling was conducted based on in-access samples and were evaluated in three Phases (before intervention, one week after intervention and two months after intervention). Data were collected by questionnaire in which two parts existed. The first part included demographic questions and the second part was in regard to the questions about knowledge, attitude, practice and the risky behaviors. Data were evaluated statistically using SPSS version 21 and descriptive tests, t-tests, and Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA).Results: The results demonstrated that the differences between mean scores of attitude before and two months after the intervention was 2.97 ± 1.78 and difference in performance scores before and two months after the intervention was 2.69 ± 2.11.There was a statistically significant difference (p<0.0001) when comparing the average score of knowledge, attitude and practice of samples pre-, post-intervention, .The significant difference between before and after intervention was the use of condoms (p<0/001).Conclusion: The appropriate method of educational interventions provided positive effects in increasing participats’knowledge, their positive attitudes and improvement in their behavior. A continuous and targeted training in supportive circumstances without prejudice about vulnerable women seems an immediate requirement for health promotion in the society.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: This study has compare to examine the efficacy of emotional focused couple Therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy on marital adjustment and marital satisfaction.Methods: Research method was quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest follow-up.The study population consisted of all couples in Isfahan. The sample included 45 couples (Emotional Focused Couple therapy (15 couples), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (15 couples) and control group (15 couples) were randomly selected by convenience sampling with replacement. Participated in group ACT (12 session) AND EFT (14session), and control group was not under any intervention questioner of Perceived questionnaire marital satisfactions and marital adjustment that couple groups in pre-test, post-test and follow up it completed Data were analyzed with repeated measures analysis of variance.Results: Covariance analysis showed that Acceptance and Commitment therapy and Emotional Focused Couple on Marital Adjustment and Marital Satisfaction are effective: Excitement focused treatment effect size 0.96 and size of the treatment effect was 0.9-based commitment and acceptance therapy.Conclusion: The results of this study could be clinical and the therapeutic interventions in order to increase Marital Satisfaction and Marital Adjustment.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Self-efficacy and social support is a effective factors in mental health, And to help them cope with stressful situations and anxiety, and trauma they experienced fewer. The main objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-efficacy, and social support and prediction of mental health among teachers is based on these variables.Methods: Due to the nature and objectives of the research, research design is non-experimental and correlation. The study population consisted of all elementary and secondary school teachers has been Tehran city.447 teachers with cluster random sampling were selected for this study. In order to collect research data from the General Health Questionnaire (28- GHQ), general self-efficacy questionnaire Sherer & colleagues Social Support Questionnaire Wax and colleagues use was performed. for analysis of data with descriptive and inferential statistics (multivariate regression) was used.Results: The results showed that self-efficacy and social support, there is a significant negative correlation with physical symptoms. Therefore, self-efficacy and social support can change physical symptoms among teachers significantly (P<0.001) explain and predict. Between self-efficacy and social support, there is a significant negative correlation with anxiety and insomnia. So they can make changes related to anxiety and insomnia among teachers significantly (P<0.001) explain and predict.Between self-efficacy and social support, social dysfunction there is a significant negative relationship. But just changing social dysfunction among teachers' selfefficacy could significantly (P ˂0.05) to explain and predict. Significant negative relationship between self-efficacy and social support with depression there. So those two variables can change significantly among teachers depression (P ˂0.001) to explain and predict.Conclusion: it can be concluded that using the ways to increase self-efficacy of teachers in teacher training, to provide social support and promote their socioeconomic situation in the course of employment can be helped to improve their mental health among them.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Ischemic heart disease is a psycho-physiological problem. There are several biological and psychological factors that affect the incidence and severity of hypertension. The present study was aimed to the role of psychological and social factors mediating effect of physical factors is the compatibility of ischemic heart disease.Methods: In this descriptive-correlated study, The study population included over- 30– adult pation with Ischemic heart disease who referred to health center in khorasan jonobi. Through convenience sampling 310 persons were selected as samples of the study. health locus of control and social perception of mental illness and cope were used to gather the data. To analyze the data Structural equation modeling (SEM) Amos18 was done by software was used.Results: There was a significant negative correlation between blood pressure and psychosocial adjustment there (0.05>p, 0.17-=B). Between psychological factorsand psychological and social adjustment there is a significant positive relationship.(0.05>p; 0.95-=B). BP relationship between psychological factors mediate the relationshipcompatibility. (0.05>p) Conclusion: Health locus of control and perception of a significant relationship with psychological and social adjustment, and also a significant relationship between blood pressure and psychological and social adjustment there. As well as psychological factors mediating effect of blood pressure on the compatibility of ischemic heart disease are associated and severity of the impact of 05 / 0- respectively.
