Abstract: 

پیش زمینه و هدف: خطای دارویی یکی از شایع ترین خطاهای پزشکی است که می تواند منجر به خطر انداختن ایمنی بیماران شود. مطالعه حاضر به منظور تعیین ارتباط هوش معنوی و دیدگاه پرستاران درباره گزارش دهی خطاهای دارویی در بیمارستان های آموزشی شهر خرم آباد در سال 1396 انجام شده است. مواد و روش ها: مطالعه توصیفی تحلیلی حاضر بر روی 298 پرستار شاغل در بیمارستان های آموزشی شهر خرم آباد در سال 1396 با حداقل مدرک کارشناسی و حداقل سابقه بالینی یک سال که به روش: نمونه گیری طبقه ای انتخاب شدند، انجام شده است. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات شامل پرسشنامه خوداظهاری هوش معنوی کینگ و پرسشنامه اصلاح شده خطای دارویی گلدستون بوده است. پس از جمع آوری اطلاعات داده ها توسط نرم افزار spss v. 21 با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و استنباطی مورد تجزیه وتحلیل قرار گرفتند. یافته ها: از 294 شرکت کننده در این پژوهش 3/64 درصد زن (189 نفر) و 7/35 درصد مرد (105 نفر) بودند. 69. 04 درصد شرکت کنندگان مرتکب خطای دارویی شده بودند که از این تعداد 52. 2 درصد آن را گزارش کرده بودند. میانگین نمره هوش معنوی پرستاران 16. 78± 71. 31 بود. در بررسی ارتباط هوش معنوی با ترس از گزارش دهی مشاهده شد که میانگین نمره افراد با جواب بله و خیر با یکدیگر تفاوت معنی داری داشت (p=0. 001). بحث و نتیجه گیری: نمره هوش معنوی پرستارانی که خطای دارویی خود را گزارش کرده بودند بیشتر از پرستارانی بود که خطای دارویی خود را گزارش نکرده بودند. با ارتقای هوش معنوی می توان عوارض ناشی از عدم گزارش دهی خطاهای دارویی را کاهش داد.

Abstract: 

Background & Aims: The provision of comfort is an essential part of nursing care and the main desire of patients during hospital admission. This study was conducted to determine the current and expected status of patient comfort in hemodialysis patients. Materials & Methods: This study was descriptive-comparative. 290 hemodialysis patients were selected in hospitals affiliated to Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences, Sanandaj, Iran, 2016. Data were collected using a demographic form and Kolkaba questionnaire, which included two parts of the existing and expected condition of comfort. Data were collected after the validity and reliability of the questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21 software Results: The participants believed that the best current status of affairs was in domains of mentalspiritual (33. 63) and then socio-cultural (29. 23), and the weakest in the domain of environment (21. 82). Patients had the highest expectations in providing psychological-spiritual (37. 5) and minimal excitement in the environment (25. 7). Conclusion: The results of this study showed that patients had the lowest level of comfort in the environmental field and were most expected to maintain comfort in the spiritual domain. Therefore, it is recommended that nurses of the hemodialysis department pay more attention to providing environmental comfort and physical and mental-spiritual care.

Abstract: 

Background & Aims: birth and acceptance of the role of fathers in the days after birth, along with are changes in the mood of fathers. These changes can lead to depression after the birth. This study was aimed to determine the prevalence and risk factors of depression after the baby. Materials & Methods: the present study is a longitudinal study that was conducted in 2016 on 160 fathers referred to health centers of Urmia city from 6 to 8 weeks before the birth to 6 to 8 weeks following the birth. For collect data was used from Edinburgh depression scale and questionnaire built by a researcher (questionnaire of factors affecting depression in fathers). For data analyze were using from software spss19 and tests descriptive statistics and to determine the relationship between risk factors and father's depression after the birth, the chi-square was used and p <0. 05 was considered significant. Results: 16. 1percent of fathers was suffering from depression after the birth of the child. Unwanted pregnancy (p=0. 002), lack of social support (p=0. 024), depression of wife (p=0. 004), employment status male (p=0. 026) and his wife (p=0. 015) and economic situation (p<0/001), was associated with depression of fathers. Conclusion: according to statistics significant depression after the birth in fathers, there is a necessity for increased attention to this issue and its consequences on the family and child development. Abstract: 

Background & Aims: Human resources are considered as the backbone of any health system, and the existence of desired quality of work life in health care organizations is a very important factor for the maintenance of skilled, motivated, and quality employees. Therefore, the present study aimed at predicting nurses' quality of work life through organizational justice and its dimensions. Materials & Methods: This research was a descriptive study. All nurses of Shiraz hospitals in 2016 constituted the statistical population of this study. The research sample consisted of 192 nurses who were selected by multi-stage random sampling method. After sample selection, Organizational Justice Questionnaire and Walton's Quality of Work Life Questionnaire (1973) were distributed among nurses. Data analysis was performed using Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results: The results showed that quality of life had a significant positive relationship with all dimensions of organizational justice, including distributive justice (r = 0. 71), procedural justice (r = 0. 31) and interactional justice (r=0. 24). Moreover, from among the dimensions of organizational justice, distributive justice explained 50% of the changes in nurses' quality of life. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate the impact of organizational distributive justice on nurses' quality of work life. Therefore, hospital authorities are recommended to provide conditions for the institutionalization of organization justice, especially distributive justice in hospitals.

Abstract: 

Background & Aims: One of the new educational strategies that play an important role in promoting active learning and problem-solving skills is a mind-mapping technique that stimulates creativity and thinking by using images, colors, communication, and structural representations of concepts. One of the best mind-mapping software that has more usability and user-friendly is Freeplane. The purpose of this research is to identify the effect of using mind-mapping software on student problem-solving skills. Materials & Methods: This is a mix-method study (quantitative and qualitative) that conducted in two consecutive phases. In the quantitative phase, population of the study consisted of 24 health information technology students of Urmia University of medical sciences that were randomly divided into two groups (case-control) to the case group, training was provided to work with the Freeplane software. During the internship, both groups were asked to provide appropriate solutions for problems related to the health information management department of hospitals. Then, the mean scores of both groups were compared by independent t-test. In the qualitative phase, using a semi-structured interview method, students' perceptions of the effect of the mind-mapping on problem solving skills were evaluated and data analysis was performed through content analysis. Results: The mean scores in the case group were 18. 33 ± 1. 68 and in the control group were 15. 26 ± 2. 05. The results of independent t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the mean scores of both groups (p <0. 05). Also students who used the Freeplane software believed that it provide a better understanding of the problem, increase problem-solving skills and creativity, and focus on learning. Conclusion: Given the critical need of medical students to learn problem-solving skills for proper decision-making and solving complex problem, the using the potential capabilities of mind-mapping software in medical education could be useful. Therefore, it is suggested that in order to develop the use of mind-mapping technique and its software, training should be provided to promote problem solving skills and creative thinking in students.

Abstract: 

Background & Aim: Emotional intelligence is considered as an effective component in the discussion of relationships between individuals. Students who do not have proper emotional abilities in the university face more disciplinary issues and may have more diversionary behaviors. Such emotional skills can include a variety of components, the most important of which are emotional regulation, emotional intelligence, and emotional creativity. The purpose of this study was to investigate the stressful behaviors and its relationship with the components of emotional intelligence, emotional creativity, and difficulty in emotional regulation. Materials & Methods: The method of this research is correlation. In this study, 396 people (172 women, 224 men) from Islamic Azad University of Urmia were selected using cluster sampling method (first clustered and then proportional to the size of each cluster of the selected sample). The samples were evaluated using Stress Behavior Questionnaire, Emotional Difficulty Questionnaire, Shout Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, and April Creativity Questionnaire. Results: The results show that stressful behaviors have a positive and significant relationship with the difficulty in emotion regulation (β = 0. 246), and emotional intelligence and emotional creativity have a significant and negative relationship. Conclusion: Based on the results, it can be concluded that the components of emotional intelligence, emotional creativity and difficulty in emotional regulation affect the processing of emotional information of individuals, affect perceptions, interactions and confrontation with educational environment. High ability in these components causes their adaptability and low ability to increase stressful and maladaptive behaviors.

Abstract: 

Background & Aims: Psychological variables associated with burnout, stress due to the nursing profession is important. This study examines the relationship between practice of religious beliefs, resiliency and self-efficacy and burnout in nurses. Materials & Methods: The population of the study consisted of all male and female nurses working in Taleghani, Baqiyatallah and Imam Khomeini hospitals in Tehran in 2014, from which a sample of 180 were selected through available sampling method. Questionnaire to collect data for the study of religious orientation, Connor and Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RIS), self-efficacy scale (GSE), Maslach Burnout Inventory responded (MBI). Data using correlation coefficient and multiple regression methods were analyzed. Results: The results showed that self-efficacy and burnout (p<001, r=-0/45), resiliency and burnout (p<001, r=-0/44) and practice of religious beliefs, and burnout (p<001, r=-0/32) there was a significant negative correlation. Also, the results of the multivariate regression analysis showed that the variables of practice of religious beliefs, resiliency and self-efficacy were able to explain 55% of the variance of job burnout. Conclusion: According to the results of the study, it is suggested that mental health professionals and managers involved in this area reduce the burnout of nurses' work on the role of practice of religious beliefs, resilience and self-efficacy.

Abstract: 

Background & Aims: A medication error is any preventable event that may lead to patient harm. The Aim of this study was to determine the relationship between spiritual intelligence and nurses' viewpoints about Medication Error Reporting in Khorramabad’ s Educational Hospitals in 2017. Materials & Methods: This descriptive-analytic study was performed on 298 nurses working in Khorramabad’ s educational hospitals in 2017 with a minimum bachelor of nursing and one year of clinical experience selected by Random Stratified Sampling. Data gathering tools consisted of King’ s Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire and Gladstone modify Medication error questionnaire. After collecting data, data was analyzed by SPSS v. 21 using Descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: participants in this study includes 64. 3% were female (189) and 35. 7% were male (105). Of the 294 participants in the study, 69 percent had a medication error. The mean score of spiritual intelligence of nurses was 71. 71 ± 16. 78. In the study of the relationship between spiritual intelligence and fear of reporting, there was a significant difference between the mean scores of the people with the yes and no response (p = 0. 001). Conclusion: More than half of the nurses had a Medication error. The average of spiritual intelligence of nurses who reporting a medication error was more than those who did not report their medication errors. Improving spiritual intelligence can Increase Medication Error Reporting.

Abstract: 

Background & Aims: normal sexual function during pregnancy is one of the important points in marital development. Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of sexual function education on the increase in couple’ s satisfaction during pregnancy. Materials & Methods: In this experimental study (quasi-experimental) 40 pregnant women by random method, observing the criteria for entry and exit, and confirming the minimum age of pregnancy of 10, and maximum 15 weeks of pregnancy, entered into the ultrasound was entered into the study. Then assigned to control and test group. After assessed sexual function questionnaire, FSFI and ASEX (experiences and sexual satisfaction) curriculum include anatomy, physiology, how sexually active couples with the experimental group was implemented. Assessment of one month and two months later (three courses) with the same questionnaire was done. to analyze the results of the present study, analysis of variance, T-test, and repeated measure were used. Results: The average sexual function before treatment were not significantly different in the two groups, the initial assessment after training, sexual satisfaction scores in the experimental group than the control group, significantly statistically In evaluating FSFI domains of satisfaction problem, arousal, humidity and libido in the intervention group than the control group, the difference was significant. But ASEX this difference was not significant. Conclusion: The study suggests that sexual function education is effective in increasing sexual satisfaction during pregnancy.
